Former residence of Li shuoxun
Li shuoxun's former residence is located at No. 71, commercial street, Qingfu Town, Gaoxian County, Sichuan Province (formerly Dongmen street, Qingfu county), belonging to the southern Sichuan folk house in the late Qing Dynasty. It has a history of about 170 years. It covers an area of 464.60 square meters and a building area of 238.50 square meters. The former residence is a small green tile bungalow with Chinese style strung frame and wood structure. There are 11 bedrooms, including the living room and study of the martyr and the bedrooms of Zhao Juntao and Li Peng's mother and son. Li shuoxun spent his youth here from 1903 to 1920.

In the early years after liberation, due to the domestic land reform movement, all the former residences were allocated to local farmers, and the original style of housing construction was also damaged and changed to varying degrees.
Life of the characters
In 1994, the people's Government of Gaoxian County relocated the residents to restore their original appearance. In 1995, they were designated as "patriotic education base of Sichuan Province". In 1996, the people's Government of Sichuan Province announced that they were "provincial cultural relics protection units". Since the opening of the former residence, it has received hundreds of thousands of people. In 1994 and 1998, Premier Li Peng, the son of martyr Li shuoxun, visited his hometown.
Martyr Li shuoxun was born in Qingfu Town, Gaoxian County in February 1903. He is an outstanding member of the Communist Party of China, an outstanding leader of China's early progressive student movement, an outstanding military commander and political worker of our army, a brave communist soldier and a loyal proletarian revolutionist. During the May 4th movement, he led the student movement. In 1926, he launched the northern expedition. In 1927, he led the 25th division to fight against Chiang Kai Shek and took part in the Nanchang Uprising. From 1928 to 1931, he fought in the white area and died bravely in the east of Haikou in September 1931.
