Hongyancun community, formerly known as "hongyanzui", is under the jurisdiction of Hualongqiao street, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. Established in June 2012, it is composed of Hongyan village community, Jiangnan village community and Huangjue village community (part). It is adjacent to Chongqing town in the East, Shapingba District (Dishuiyan) in the west, Shiyou road street in the South and Jiangbei District across the river in the north. During the Anti Japanese War, the Southern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Chongqing Office of the Eighth Route Army were located in Hongyan village. Zhou Enlai, Dong Biwu, Ye Jianying, Bogu, Wu Yuzhang, Wang Ruofei, Deng Yingchao and other leaders of the Communist Party of China lived and worked here for eight years and made outstanding contributions to the victory of China's Anti Japanese war.

After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, Mao Zedong went to Chongqing and visited Hongyan on the 40th. During the Chongqing negotiation and Shangdang campaign, Mao Zedong took charge of Hongyan's strategy and won a decisive victory, which added a glorious page to Hongyan's history.

Hongyan village community, established in June 2012, is composed of the original Hongyan village community, Jiangnan village community and Huangjue village community, covering an area of about 0.7 square kilometers. At present, high-end communities such as yongjiangyuan community, Yongjiang Yiting community and Yongjiang Yueting community have been built. There are yongjiangyuan community, Yongjiang Yiting community and Yongjiang Yueting community in the jurisdiction. Development history

In early 1939, the Southern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Chongqing Office of the Eighth Route Army were established in Chongqing, with Zhou Enlai as secretary and Dong Biwu, Ye Jianying, Qin bangxian, Kaifeng and Wu Kejian as standing committee members. Because the Kuomintang did not allow the Communist Party of China to organize public activities, the Southern Bureau was secretly set up in the Chongqing Office of the Eighth Route Army, the public organ, initially at 70 engine room street.

At the beginning of May 1939, the Japanese plane bombed and destroyed No. 70, engine room street. Dong Biwu and Bogu led most of the comrades of the Southern Bureau and office to Hongyan, where they lived in the farm workers' dormitories and several thatched houses where firewood and sundries were piled up. In the autumn of that year, the office and accommodation building designed and built by the office comrades was completed, and all the offices of the Southern Bureau and the Eighth Route Army in Chongqing moved to work here. The local authorities numbered the house as hongyanzui No. 13 (changed to hongyancun No. 13 in 1945). Since then, the red land of Hongyan village has become a symbol of revolution.

Hongyan village is the command center of the Communist Party of China in the Kuomintang ruled area. At that time, Zhou Enlai and other leading comrades either acted as representatives of the Communist Party of China or as members of the National Political Council, negotiated with the Kuomintang authorities and carried out the United Front work. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, Mao Zedong went to Chongqing and visited Hongyan for 40 days. Chongqing Office of the Eighth Route Army

The South Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the office building of the Eighth Route Army in Chongqing is a dark gray building with two floors on the outside and three floors on the outside, covering an area of 800 square meters. The whole building is a civil engineering structure with 54 rooms on two floors and one floor.

At the bottom is the public office of the Eighth Route Army in Chongqing. The second floor is the office and bedroom of the Southern Bureau and leading comrades. Zhou Enlai's office and bedroom is the place where responsible comrades of the southern bureau often meet and make important decisions. The largest room on the second floor is the library of the Southern Bureau and its office. On the third floor are the confidential section and secret radio station of Nanfang Bureau and office, which are mainly responsible for the communication with relevant radio stations in Yan'an and other places and the transmission of confidential documents.

Hongyan village is famous at home and abroad for its special contribution to the Chinese revolution. Hongyan village Eighth Route Army Office Building in Chongqing is a three story wooden structure building. On the second floor are Mao Zedong's and Zhou Enlai's offices and bedrooms, displaying all kinds of articles used by Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai at that time and the manuscript of Qin yuan Chun Xue written by Mao Zedong. The third floor is the working room and dormitory for office cadres. There is a secret radio station, which can contact Yan'an directly. There are many articles and photos reflecting the life and work of that year in each room.

Cherry garden, peach garden and bonsai garden have been built in the museum. Sakura is a rare Japanese Sakura presented to Deng Yingchao by former Japanese Prime Minister Kazuo Tanaka. Xinhua Daily was founded in Nanjing in October 1937 and officially published in Wuhan on January 11, 1938. Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial

Chongqing Hongyan revolutionary memorial hall is located at No. 52, Hongyan village, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, with a construction area of 5300 square meters.
