Jiulong Town

The name of the old town. See Longhu street, jiufo street and Xinlong town for details. Jiulong Town, Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is located in the northeast of Guangzhou City and the north wing of Huangpu District. It is 28 kilometers away from Zengcheng District in the East, 31 kilometers away from the center of Guangzhou in the west, 148 kilometers away from Shenzhen in the south, 30 kilometers away from Xintang customs in Zengcheng District, and 20 kilometers away from Conghua District in the north. Zhenlong has traffic in all directions. There are as many as seven subway stations built in the town. Meanwhile, high-speed railways and expressways are under construction. Jiulong Town is a key planning area in Guangzhou, with new natural ecological life circle, cultural circle and business circle, which is very suitable for settlement.

historical origin

Jiulong Town is merged by Zhenlong town and jiufo town and named by one word respectively. In the actual planning, the Sino Singapore Knowledge City Project (China Singapore) at the junction of the two towns is mainly used.

In August 2005, according to the adjustment of Guangzhou's administrative divisions, the original jiufo District of Zhongluotan town in Baiyun District and the original Zhenlong District of Zhongxin town in Zengcheng City were merged into jiufo Zhenlong district under the jurisdiction of Luogang District in Guangzhou city. It is the only newly born town after the administrative region adjustment of Guangzhou in 2005, and it is also the youngest town level system in Guangzhou. On March 29, 2006, the CPC Committee of Jiulong Town, Huangpu District, Guangzhou city was established; on April 12, 2006, the people's Government of Jiulong Town, Huangpu District, Guangzhou city was established.

On September 15, 2006, Jiulong Town was approved as the central town of Guangdong Province. Jiulong Town is located in the northeast of Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to the east foot of damaofeng mountain, Zhongxin town of Zengcheng District in the East, Taiping town of Conghua District in the north, Zhongluotan town of Baiyun District in the West and Yonghe street of Huangpu District in the south. It covers an area of 175.1 square kilometers.

On September 9, 2015, Jiulong Town, Huangpu District was unveiled.

Economic situation

The town has 43092 mu of arable land, including 18600 mu of rice, 19280 mu of vegetables, 32317 mu of fruits, litchi, longan, wubailan, banana, etc., 21000 mu of flowers, mainly white orchids, fresh cut flowers and green seedlings, 30 large-scale farms and 8350 mu of aquaculture. Among them, there are 9100 mu of white orchid, and the rest are mainly green seedlings and fresh cut flowers and leaves; the aquaculture industry is mainly animal husbandry and aquaculture, and there are more than 30 farms above the designated size in the town, with an aquaculture area of 8351 mu; the forest area is 145077 Mu, including 93495 mu of ecological public welfare forest, with a forest coverage rate of 52.4%; among them, there is one medium-sized reservoir, two small-sized reservoirs, and 12 small-sized reservoirs, with a total reservoir area of 1 mu It has a capacity of 24.945 million cubic meters. The main rivers are Jinkeng River and Fenghuang River, which are in east-west trend. The water system of jiufopian is in leaf vein pass distribution, and the water system of zhenlongpian is in fan-shaped distribution.

The characteristic agricultural products mainly include white orchid, fresh cut flower, diaosidan bamboo shoot, chicaixin, Amethyst sweet potato and sweet radish. Industrial development is dominated by modern industries invested by foreign enterprises. It mainly develops electronics, chemical industry, plastics, electrical appliances, hardware processing, agricultural products processing, man-made diamond tools, wool weaving, pharmaceutical, furniture, etc. There are well-equipped Jiulong Industrial Park, Jinlong Industrial Park and other industrial parks in the town, providing a good development platform for the development of enterprises. There are 176 industrial enterprises in the area, and 45 enterprises have settled in the park. World famous enterprises Huiya group, Carl Zeiss optics (China) Co., Ltd. and Kangsheng Industrial Co., Ltd. have invested and set up factories in the town. The first phase of Jiulong Industrial Park has been completed. The infrastructure construction of roads, greening, sewage disposal, water and electricity has been completed. The construction of jiufo sewage treatment plant, Huiya group's 110000V substation and other new projects have started. In 2006, the total industrial output value of the town reached 6.22 billion yuan, an increase of 18% compared with 2005; the total agricultural output value reached 606 million yuan, an increase of 4.21%; the average annual income of farmers reached 5151 yuan, an increase of 9.4%.

In 2008, the GDP of the whole town was 8.286 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.36% compared with 2007 (the same below); the fiscal and tax input was 182 million yuan, an increase of 13.05%; the average annual income of farmers reached 8141 yuan, an increase of 21.6%.

In 2011, the town's GDP reached 2800 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.33%, of which the total industrial output value reached 4811.81 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8% (of which the total output value of Enterprises above Designated Size reached 3738.48 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.11%); the total agricultural output value reached 1028.53 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%; the total output value of the tertiary industry reached 2447.36 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.99%. The total revenue of Finance and taxation was 255.35 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.24%. The disposable financial resources were 196.95 million yuan, an increase of 63.70%; the per capita annual income of farmers was 11168 yuan, an increase of 13% year on year.

There are 28 administrative villages such as Maicun, datan and jiulou, three neighborhood committees such as jiufo, Suibei and Zhenlong, and 338 economic cooperatives. The resident population was 108575 (2017).
