Wu Jingzi memorial hall is located in zoumagang, northwest corner of Quanjiao County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. Wu Jingzi (1701-1754), a novelist of the Qing Dynasty, was born in Chuzhou. Wu Jingzi was born in the 40th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty and died in the 19th year of Emperor Qianlong of Gaozong. He was 54 years old (23 years in Quanjiao, 10 years in Ganyu and 21 years in Nanjing). His 55 chapters of scholars (one for 56 chapters, another for 60 chapters, none of which is original) are devoted to the truth of the scholars. They are humorous and amusing.
