Detached building

Historical evolution

Chaoran building was built in Yuan Dynasty. According to the records of Licheng county annals, Li Zhen, a Bachelor of Yuan Dynasty, built Chaoran building behind the water Pavilion of Daming Lake in Jinan. After that, many famous poets of Ming and Qing Dynasties left their poems here. But the original building has been gone for a long time. In 2007, after the construction of Daming Lake expansion project, the old site was searched and rebuilt. In August 2008, the reconstruction of Chaoran building officially started construction, with a height of 51.7 meters and an area of 5673 square meters, a total of 7 floors. When you stand here for sightseeing, you can overlook the scenery of Daming Lake.

Setting of scenic spots

"Chaoran Zhiyuan" is one of the eight scenic spots in the New District of Daming Lake. Other scenic spots around it are memorial archway, Ya garden, Jiaxuan temple, Tiegong temple, Lixia Pavilion, Beiji temple, Nanfeng temple, Huibo tower, Mingchang Zhongting, Minghu Baoding, Zeng Gong painted wall, and 100 meter large fountain in the center of the lake. The restored Chaoran building is a reinforced concrete imitation wood structure Pavilion building with a building area of 5673 square meters square meter. The building is located on the broad white marble platform, covered with copper tiles, which is simple and elegant. It has seven floors and is 51.7 meters high. In the building, there are wood carvings such as Quancheng Range Rover and Jinan eight sceneries, root carvings such as kunpengzhanyi, wanmabengteng and longtujiuli, and paintings of Daming Lake eight sceneries. There are elevators in the building directly to the viewing platform. Visitors can have a panoramic view of the spring city.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of urban landscaping, Chaoran building is one of the main contents of the Daming Lake expansion and reconstruction project. The total investment of the whole expansion project is nearly 2.2 billion yuan. Nearly 3000 households and 21 state-owned units have been demolished. The total area has been expanded from 74 hectares to 103.4 hectares. Historical sites such as chaoranlou, minghuju and wenshaoyi have been restored and rebuilt. After the completion of the project, Daming Lake scenic area carefully organized the cultural exhibition of Chaoran building. After many discussions, the exhibition content is determined to show Jinan spring culture, urban garden culture and folk culture of old Jinan, and strive to highlight the cultural characteristics of Jinan.

"The pavilions near the water are full of vegetation and the Zhulou is a hundred feet echo" is a true portrayal of the detached building by the poet Yang Yansi of the Ming Dynasty. After the reconstruction, the detached building adds a little charm. The building collects wood carvings such as "Spring City Range Rover" Jinan Bajing and other root carvings such as "ten thousand horses galloping" and "dragon spitting nine carp". The exquisite art technology makes tourists marvel.

Quancheng Range Rover

Large scale nanmu wood carvings, 8 meters high, 5 meters wide and 16 cm thick, from the southeast corner of Jinan, you can see Qianfo Mountain, Baotu Spring, Heihu spring, Furong street, Wulongtan, Daming Lake and Huashan Mountain in the distance. The area of 40 square meters brings together the old city and all the scenic spots vividly and clearly. The main creator of "Quancheng Range Rover" is Mr. Feng Wentu, a master of Chinese arts and crafts.

Guan Hei Mie Yue

"Guan hei and Mi Yue" are four old Shandong artists, Guan Yousheng, heibolong, MI jutian and Yue Xiangshu. In 1964, Beijing held the first national art exhibition. The works of Shandong artists who participated in the exhibition were sent to Daming Lake scenic area for exhibition. Shortly after the exhibition ended, an unprecedented movement took place. In that movement, the calligraphy and painting Library of Daming Lake scenic spot escaped a disaster, and the works in the library were also preserved. Today, the original works of that year are on display in the detached building.

Original rubbings

Li Wei, whose name is gaizhi, was born in Tengzhou, Shandong Province in 1274. He was once the editor of the Hanlin Academy of national history, and later the official of Baikui Zhangge. According to the records of Licheng county annals, when he was in Jinan, because he was infatuated with the beautiful scenery of Daming Lake, he built a detached building behind the water Pavilion of Daming Lake as his residence. On the second floor of the detached building, there is a rubbings of Li Zhen's poem "poems across the river".
