Hebei Museum
Hebei museum is located in the cultural square of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, starting from Zhongshan Road in the north, fanxi road in the south, East Street in the East and West Street in the West. It is a provincial comprehensive museum in Hebei Province, a national patriotic education demonstration base and a national first-class Museum.
The predecessor of Hebei museum is Hebei Provincial Museum. On June 9, 2014, Hebei museum was founded, with a total construction area of 53128 square meters and an exhibition area of more than 22000 square meters, There are 150000 pieces of cultural relics in the collection, including 334 pieces (sets) of first-class relics, 1910 pieces (sets) of second-class relics, and 16313 pieces (sets) of third-class relics. The cultural relics unearthed from Mancheng Han tombs, four famous kilns in ancient Hebei, blue and white of the Yuan Dynasty, Buddhist statues carved in stone, calligraphy and paintings of local celebrities in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and cultural relics during the Anti Japanese war are the most distinctive. In addition, the hospital has a collection of more than 50000 books, many of which are rare books of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is one of the main collection units of local chronicles in Hebei Province (as of the end of 2014).
Historical evolution
In April 1953, Hebei Museum, the predecessor of Hebei Museum, was established in Baoding ancient lotus pond.
In 1982, the Hebei Provincial Museum moved to Shijiazhuang to use the Hebei Provincial Exhibition Hall to hold exhibitions.
In 1986, Hebei exhibition hall and museum were merged and rebuilt into Hebei Provincial Museum, which officially opened the next year.
In 2006, the Hebei provincial Party committee and government decided to rebuild and expand the Hebei Provincial Museum and started construction in the same year.
On June 8, 2013, the expanded Hebei Provincial Museum was opened to the public.
On June 9, 2014, Hebei museum was officially opened.

Hebei Museum has a total construction area of 53128 square meters and an exhibition area of more than 22000 square meters, which is divided into North and south areas: the north area was built in 1968, originally known as "long live exhibition hall of Mao Zedong Thought victory", with a total construction area of 20028 square meters, imitating the colonnade style building of the Great Hall of the people in Beijing; the south area is a new area, with a total construction area of 33100 square meters and a total investment of 628 million yuan The tall pillars echo the architectural form and main color of the North District.
In terms of service function, the south district is the basic exhibition area, which focuses on the ancient civilization of Hebei; the North District (old exhibition hall) is the temporary exhibition area, which mainly holds contemporary culture and art, social hot spot perspective, cultural exchange at home and abroad, and other temporary exhibitions, except for the exhibition of "a hundred years of glimpse of modern Hebei"; the Sunshine Hall connecting the north and South districts is the main exhibition area Audience leisure service area.

Temporary Exhibition
On September 1, 2015, Hebei Museum launched such red themed exhibitions as "Anti Japanese beacon - Hero Hebei" and "remembering the history and realizing the dream of China - Hebei archives exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti Japanese War". The exhibition tells the history of the Anti Japanese war with cultural relics and historical materials, and reproduces the historical facts of that year with a large number of real historical pictures. It shows the historical facts of the army and people's struggle in Hebei during the eight year Anti Japanese war from 1937 to 1945. The contents include four units, namely, the war of war, the Japanese atrocities, the Anti Japanese war behind the enemy lines in Hebei and the great victory. The exhibition area is 1300 square meters, with more than 240 cultural relics and 350 historical pictures on display.

In July 2015, Hebei Museum and Zigong Dinosaur Museum jointly held the Zigong Dinosaur science exhibition "dinosaurs are coming". The dinosaur fossils on display in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, have passed through five continents and more than 20 countries in the world. The center of the exhibition hall is assembled from the fossil Heping Yongchuan dragon, which is more than 8 meters long and more than 4 meters high. There are 8 dinosaur skeletons, 10 typical specimens, 12 simulated robot dinosaurs, 32 dinosaur science paintings, and a large number of interactive exhibits.
On December 25, 2015, Shanxi Museum, Hebei Museum and Hebei Provincial Institute of cultural relics jointly held the "Zhongshan Fengyun ancient Zhongshan cultural relics exhibition" in the first floor exhibition hall of Shanxi Museum. 112 pieces of ancient Zhongshan state cultural relics will appear in Shanxi Museum soon. Among them, the "mountain" shaped ritual vessels, the "two winged beast" with gold and silver inlaid, 15 copper lamps, and the king's vessels with long inscriptions are all highly featured cultural relics.

The spring and Autumn Annals of cultural relics is a comprehensive academic journal focusing on cultural relics, archaeology and Museology.
