Each part of the folk sculpture museum is a collection of sculpture antiques from the folk.
Mr. Feng Wenxuan, who lives in the Hutong next to the museum and studies Chinese ancient culture, said: "I like the three gatehouses in the hall very much. They are the brick gate in Shanxi, the wood gate in Beijing and the wood gate in Jiangxi. Three different architectural styles are placed in one space."

In 2002, it opened at 14 East Liulichang Street. Songtang invested more than 5 million yuan to rebuild the old shop and built a three-dimensional Museum of folk sculpture.
The library is a two-story building with an area of 254 square meters. Moved to the current site in July 2008.
The collection includes the personal collection of curator Li Songtang and all kinds of folk carvings purchased from all over the country.
The exhibits are mainly divided into three parts: stone carving, brick carving and wood carving. Collection
The unique feature of Songtangzhai folk sculpture museum is that it is a genuine "ancient house". Li Songtang applied more than 400 pieces of ancient architecture collection to the reconstruction of the museum.
When you enter the exhibition hall, you will see the hollowed out ethical and moral wooden screens in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. The six screens show "filial piety to parents" and "respect for elders". Behind the screen in the hall, there are three gatehouses in different regions: the brick gate in Shanxi, the wood gate in Beijing and the stone gate in Jiangxi. The three gatehouses not only show the style of local dwellings, but also summarize the main collection contents of Songtangzhai.
Next to the gatehouse is a wooden ladder, which goes up to the second floor of the museum. There are carved components from different periods and regions. Each collection is exquisitely carved and well preserved, and many of them have beautiful meanings and allusions.
The treasure of the town hall is a stone beam of Song Dynasty named "the emperor's tour map". The stone beam is 2.25 meters long and 0.35 meters wide. It adopts five layers of openwork carving. In a limited area, it skillfully combines more than 160 characters and many birds, animals, flowers, pavilions and pavilions, presenting the lifelike three-dimensional graphics.
The museum's collection includes architectural components, decorative components, interior furnishings and furniture of all ages, including more than 700 wood carvings, more than 800 stone carvings, and more than 1000 brick carvings, including spring and autumn double fish Luoguo tiles, Qin tiles, Han tiles, and Dai Kuan great wall tiles.
