It is understood that Huang Feihong has three grandchildren and six grandchildren. Now he is distributed in Southeast Asia, Oceania and Latin America. His occupation has nothing to do with martial arts.
Architectural pattern
The architectural art of Huang Feihong Memorial Hall embodies the tradition and style of ancient Chinese architecture, especially the Lingnan architecture, and preserves the courtyard style architectural norms of traditional dwellings. Old materials are collected for building components such as beams, column bases, brick carvings, cornices, screens, doors and windows, and balustrades, so as to preserve the historical charm.
Huang Feihong memorial hall adopts the layout of two rooms and three bays plus corridor, which is the architectural style of Foshan folk houses and ancestral halls during Huang Feihong's lifetime (from the middle of Qing Dynasty to the folk period). The first gate is a two-story gate tower, with a bright and dark layout. The two-step martial arts hall is the main building of the memorial hall, which needs three steps of stone steps to ascend. The martial arts hall is a two-story, one positive and two partial structure, with a hard peak, wok ear type fire sealing gable, and Bogu ridge type main ridge, which is larger than the gate building. The second floor of the hall is also made of a positive and two partial structure, with a hard top, a wok ear type fire sealing gable, and a Bogu ridge type main ridge. The main room on the second floor is a large-scale wood carving named Feihong.
Building components and decoration technology, wood carving, brick carving, stone carving and grey sculpture can be called the four unique wood carvings of Huang Feihong Memorial Hall. A set of door with stone and a long walk are a complete collection of 100 year old antiquities from the Pearl River Delta area. They are spacious and magnificent. The foyer uses four screens as the middle door. This set of opencut screens inlaid with colored glass is rare even in high-grade Foshan dwellings. The two secondary rooms and the corridor are separated by a screen door, which can be opened and closed. It has flexibility and is a masterpiece of contemporary imitation of Qing Dynasty wood carving.
The woodcarving hanging in the martial arts hall is a collection of Qing Dynasty cultural relics. The theme is peony Phoenix, which symbolizes wealth and auspiciousness. The interior windows are made of wood carved Manchuria windows, which are made of colored glass wrapped with wood flowers and vines. They can be turned over. They are indispensable for high-end Lingnan buildings from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. Brick carvings, two pieces of brick carvings embedded on the gable of the main entrance, are exquisite. They were collected in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty when the Liangyuan garden was built a few years ago. With flowers and birds as the theme, the flowers are in full bloom, the magpies are singing and dancing, and the atmosphere of peace is rising. A pair of stone lions in front of the gate were carved in Foshan in 1888, the 23rd year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty. They were transferred from the treasure Pavilion of ancestral temple to Huang Feihong Memorial Hall as lions in front of the gate.
