Founded in December 2008, Tianjin Western Art Museum is located in No.77 Jiefang North Road, Tianjin, a century old building area with financial features. The predecessor of the Western Art Museum is the Tianjin Art Museum. The main building is the former site of the French former Oriental Bank. The building was built in 1921 with a distinctive French Baroque architectural style. It is a key protected building in Tianjin.
