In 1932, Hei's Hotel closed down due to poor management. It was bought by Jiang Ruxin, a Western doctor who studied in Dehua college in Qingdao. He opened the Ruxin hospital named after him, which specializes in internal medicine. Now it is a kindergarten in Shinan District of Qingdao.
