Yangzhou art museum was completed and opened to the public on September 26, 2010, with a construction area of 14134 square meters and a total of four floors. The total height of the building is 24 meters. The shared atrium is an open public space with an area of about 2000 square meters. It can hold opening ceremonies of various exhibitions.

With the atrium as the core, the exhibition hall is divided into the north and south of the atrium, with five independent exhibition halls and one ramp sculpture exhibition hall. It can hold national single art exhibition and provincial comprehensive art exhibition. The floor height of each exhibition hall is 6 meters, which can meet the exhibition demand of larger area and height. The first floor is equipped with the first exhibition hall with an area of about 600 square meters, which is a closed exhibition hall. In addition, there are commodity department, audience rest hall and VIP lounge. The second floor is the second and third exhibition halls with a total area of 1323 square meters, which is an open exhibition hall. The third floor is the fourth and fifth exhibition halls with a total area of 1274 meters, which is a closed boutique exhibition hall with a painting collection room. The fourth floor is for painters Room and office area. The ramp exhibition hall from the atrium to the second floor mainly displays sculptures by local artists, with a ramp length of 80 meters. The total exhibition route is about 700 meters. The circular inclined side skylight on the top of the atrium makes full use of natural lighting, and the supplement of artificial light source greatly meets the light requirements of the art museum. The Art Museum has comprehensive functions such as exhibition, exhibition, collection, research and leisure.

The museum is open to the public free of charge for many years.
