Biological resources
In 2005, a team of 20 scientists from eight countries came here to conduct a four-day rapid biodiversity survey. In just four days, 104 species of birds belonging to 10 orders, 28 families were recorded here. Not only are there many kinds of animals, but the incredible trust of animals in people is amazing. White eared pheasant and blood pheasant forage quietly on the roadside. They don't leave until someone comes to them. All kinds of large and medium-sized mammals that are hard to see in other places, such as maoguan deer, forest musk deer, red musk deer and rock sheep, can meet here unexpectedly. The local Tibetans strictly abide by the tradition of not killing animals and take good care of the surrounding animals, providing a refuge for the survival and reproduction of wild animals.
