Qingshan glacial mortar group
Qingshan bingjiuqun nature reserve is located in the east of Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 25 kilometers away from Jingpeng Town, where the banner government is located. The nature reserve is located in dawoulai village, Xinjing township. It is connected with Guandong Che village in the East, Shunyi long village in the west, ramulun River in the South and Menggu yingzi village in the north. The geographical coordinates are 117 ° 46 ′ E and 43 ° 15 ′ n, covering a total area of 9200 hectares.
geographical environment
Qingshan nature reserve is a kind of geological relic nature reserve, whose main object is to protect the permafrost group.
Qingshan nature reserve is located on the Qingshan mountain at an altitude of 1574 meters. At the top of the mountain, there are various kinds of glaciers, most of which are round, nearly round, oval and irregular in shape. Some like gourd, some like plum, some like melon seeds. Generally, the mouth of the ice mortar is slightly smaller, the middle and lower parts are larger, and the bottom is flat or slightly concave. It can be said that there are all kinds of shapes, such as "mortar", "plate", "basin" and "spoon". The deeper ones are characterized by small mouth, large belly and flat bottom. The upper margin of the mouth has a notch (or opening), which is large or small, deep or shallow. Generally, the width of the mouth is about 0.3-2 meters, and the depth is about 0.1-2 meters. The largest one is 10.5 meters in diameter and 4.5 meters in depth, while the smallest one is only a few centimeters, the size of a button. According to the survey and statistics, there are more than 1000 ice molars of different sizes within a radius of less than 2 square kilometers. Some of them are clean and clean, without any residue or filling material, but many of them are filled with wind dust and loess material, full of flowers, grass, trees and shrubs, forming "natural bonsai" of different sizes. They are placed on the hard and flat granite ridge, which is very spectacular, giving people a great sense of magic and mystery.
The local people have a strong will to protect this large-scale natural heritage. The degree of preservation of this large-scale natural heritage is beyond the experts' expectation. With such a long history, the natural heritage left by that remote era is still clearly presented in front of the world. The vegetation on the mountain is also well protected, and there is almost no soil erosion. Apricot, Pinus tabulaeformis, Cupressus and Populus davidiana are growing vigorously, which is of great significance to the long-term conservation of nature The panorama of the ruins played a special role.
Landscape vegetation
356 species of wild vascular plants belonging to 217 genera and 66 families have been identified in the reserve, including one national protected plant, Juglans mandshurica Maxim. There are 7 national protected medicinal plants. (see Table 1 for details)
Qingshan Nature Reserve in keshike banner is a geological relic nature reserve mainly for the protection of glacial molars. According to the field investigation of many experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Institute of geology, Peking University, China Geological Museum and other units, it is believed that the distribution of glaciers in this area is rare at home and abroad. It is known as the "wonder of the world" and is the largest glaciers group found at present. There are ice scuttles and ice erosion depressions in the north of Qingshan mountain, and two U-shaped glaciers in the East and west of Qingshan mountain It is a rare evidence and important historical witness of the changes of global paleoclimate, paleoenvironment and paleogeology.
With its unique natural landscape, the nature reserve attracts many experts and scholars at home and abroad as well as tourists who love nature to visit and travel. Every visitor was deeply impressed by the scenery here. The nature reserve is not only an important base for scientific research, but also the best place for the development of eco-tourism. Here is full of scenery and pictures. People can feel the infinite charm of nature when they come here.
Here, with its unique peaks and rocks, beautiful scenery, uncanny craftsmanship, and both form and spirit, it's amazing. It gives people a poetic and picturesque feeling. On the north side of the reserve, there are trees and rocks. When you stand on the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the reserve. At the foot of the mountain, the winding Xilamulun river flows leisurely from west to East, which adds a sense of beauty to the Castle Peak.
The lawn on the top of the mountain, mountain temple, dangerous stone, hanging stone, olecranon stone and densely distributed glacial mortar group are the best places for tourism. It is believed that in the near future, it will be a high-level nature reserve integrating ecotourism, publicity and education.
Qingshan nature reserve is located in the southwest of the Neocathaysian tectonic belt and the north edge of the Yinshan East-West complex tectonic belt. The geological structure is complex, and the exposed strata are mainly Mesozoic Jurassic and Cenozoic Tertiary volcanic rock series, followed by Paleozoic Permian, Carboniferous and Silurian. The upper part is biotite quartz schist, muscovite quartz schist intercalated with thin slate, and the lower part is hornblende plagioclase gneiss intercalated with marble, with a thickness of more than 1000 meters. The mountain is relatively high, with an average altitude of more than 1000 meters and a peak of 1574 meters. On the shady slope of the mountain, birch forest, Populus davidiana forest, Quercus mongolica forest or mixed forest are mainly distributed in patches, while on the downward slope, Vitex negundo forest is mainly attached to riverside wetland; on the sunny slope, hazelnut, Ulmus pumila, Quercus mongolica and other sparse forest vegetation are widely distributed. On the rocky hillside, apricot, Artemisia ordosica and Artemisia ordosica are dominant.
Climate conditions
This area belongs to the mid temperate continental monsoon climate. Due to its vast area, undulating mountains, great difference between high and low, and complex climate change, there is a saying that "there is no rain across the mountains, and there is no hail across the road" in one place. The general characteristics are long and cold winter, short and cool summer, large daily temperature difference and obvious frost free period difference. Due to the high altitude, less water and strong atmospheric transparency, the light resources are rich. The annual sunshine hours are 2700-2950 hours, and the sunshine percentage is 62-65%.
The nature reserve is a warm and cool semi-arid agricultural climate zone. The annual average temperature is between 2 ℃ and 5 ℃, and the average temperature in January is - 14 ~ - 18.
