When the north slope of Jinshan is steep, the south slope is relatively gentle, the surface is seriously weathered, and the rock mass is broken. Due to the influence of the east-west fault, the east-west fault basin in the mountains is relatively developed, and the terrain is open. The cross section of the basin is a "U" shaped wide valley, and the valley bottom elevation is generally 2800m ~ 3600m. The ground elevation is generally between 2800m and 3700m, with a relative elevation difference of 500-1000m. When Jinshan pass is often covered with snow even in hot summer, its unique natural landscape is like a fairyland on earth.
