Emei cave group

Emei cave group is located in the west of Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province, adjacent to Henggang Town and Emei township. It is 30km away from the urban area and 60km away from Jiujiang City. The tourism development project of the scenic spot is under planning.

Scenery introduction

In the spring of 1987, three scholars in Nanjing investigated the Ruichang cave group in the southwest of Ruichang and exclaimed: "this is the first cave in the south of the Yangtze River!". The Ruichang cave group has its own characteristics and is integrated. These caves are amazing, dangerous, strange and secluded. When you enter these unpredictable, dark and hazy underground caves, all kinds of magical fantasies will arise spontaneously: you may roam in Wu Chengen's Tiangong Shuifu, or you may wander in Dante's ghost prison, or you may be elegant or creepy, which inevitably leads to many deep sighs of life. The most representative caves in Ruichang group are Wanfo cave, Laoshe cave and Xiafan cave.

According to legend, there were ten thousand stone Buddha Caves, also known as "hero cave". As the name suggests, a man can enter this cave. Grotesque rocks in the cave, cliff hanging cliff, Jiajing often in the most dangerous place. The water in the cave is misty, and the scenery changes with the water. Sometimes the scenery is faint and beautiful. Not far from the entrance of the cave, there is a stalagmite about five meters high standing on the top of the cliff. Under the cliff, there is a waterfall. The bead curtain falls, the stone tablet splashes, the white tower looms, the sound of the water is like thunder and the sound of a bell is far away. Two wall overhanging rock is steep, the middle pool is clear, people dare not set foot in. This scene is called "white tower waterfall". Further inside, there is a landscape called "magic Palace". Clusters of milky stones stretch out to the water. On the left, they look like elephants absorbing water, on the right, they look like dragons playing with pearls, they look up at the dancing demons, and they look down like flowers blooming. In addition, the water in the cave is misty, which makes it more unpredictable and illusory. It's like being in an illusory world. Different from this atmosphere, the "Guanghan Palace" has an empty dome with inverted bell like lanterns hanging on the picturesque roof. If you shoot the light, the faint reflection can vaguely see the "Chang'e" under the moon. It's as quiet as sorrow and sorrow. What a cold and desolate fairyland! In addition, "banyan yingyue", "fishing boat singing late", "flying dragon crossing the river", "red flag rolling" and other landscapes have their own interests. There is a library at the exit. Its side waterfall is tens of meters high. The waterfall is noisy. The moss on both sides is mottled and the trees are shady. At sunset, standing at the entrance of the cave, you can see that the sunset is as golden as gold, the green mountains are as beautiful as Dai, and the clouds are shining over Henggang reservoir. The cooking smoke in the village, the bamboo cutting in front of the village, and the chickens and dogs barking in the village are all poetic and picturesque.

Laoshe cave is in the east of Wanfo cave. Compared with Wanfo cave, this cave is gentle and peaceful, and there is nothing shocking about it. There are snake and lion, silver silk and four halls in Laoshe cave. The hall is rich in deposits, forming a variety of patterns. The water in the cave is gurgling and the rocks and water are overlapping. On the cave wall of the second hall, there is a small cave. There is water seepage in the crack. The water is clean and flowing, and the bright bell shaped opalestone is precipitated. It is attached to the colorful cave wall. The sound of dripping water is like a bell, which is called "Emei evening bell". There is also a "children's paradise" in the second hall, also known as "lion camel seal". Two stones, which are similar to seals, are stacked together. It's interesting to see the lion and the leopard. There are two holes in the third hall, which are triangular in shape, with dripping water flowing out, forming a shield like stalactite in the upper part and a cone-shaped stalactite drooping at the edge, forming a "Lotus terrace". There are two stalagmites on the "Lotus terrace", just like one or two holy monks meditating on the wall. People call them "Lotus terrace holy monks".

With the improvement of people's material living standards, "May 1st", "October 1st" and "Spring Festival" holidays set off a tourism boom in the whole country. Lushan Mountain is a tourist attraction, and Emei cave is located at the foot of Lushan Mountain. According to the planning of Jiangxi Provincial Tourism Administration, it will be under the management of Lushan Mountain Scenic Area, connected with various tourist spots in Jiujiang City and Jiujiang County, so as to ensure sufficient tourists.
