Ningxia Lingwu Baijitan National Nature Reserve is located at the edge of Maowusu Sandy Land and the desert area in the east of the Yellow River irrigation area in Lingwu City, Ningxia, with a total area of 74843 hectares. It starts from the intersection of the great wall of Ming Dynasty in the East, reaches 1km west of huangcaogou pass in the south, 2km west of Renjiazhuang pass in the south, reaches the intersection of banxiao road and 307 National Road in Tianshui river course in the south, turns along 307 National Road to gongjingziqiao, reaches laoquankeng small intersection in the south, follows Guyang railway to dageidaozi, reaches jinjiashagoukou and jixingoukou in the south, and extends westward from jixingoukou to Sanchazi north 2 highway in the south Then turn westward to 1.5km south of Longkeng well and 1km east of Chelugou Yangquan; 1 km east of Chelugou Yangquan in the west, turn northward along 1250m contour line to K10 pile of Langyong highway, extend northward 1.2km from taohulu to dongganqu, pass miaoliangzigou to dongganqu spillway, and northward along 1150M contour line to cross haizidun, 307 national highway, Qinggou, tianchigou and Hengcheng; From Hengcheng in the north, along the great wall of Ming Dynasty to the intersection of Ningmeng border in the East. Management organization
Baijitan National Nature Reserve (Baijitan sand control forest farm) is located in the southwest edge of Maowusu Desert in Ningxia. It is a state-owned institution mainly for windbreak, sand fixation, afforestation and ecological environment protection. In terms of management system, it has a set of people and two brands. It has six functional departments, six management stations, four enterprises and one public security bureau, with 476 employees and an area of 1.48 million mu.
Sand control project
From 2005 to 2010, a total of 220577 mu of afforestation has been completed in Baijitan National Nature Reserve of Lingwu, including 119662 mu of sand control on mobile dunes, 20260 mu of afforestation on barren hills, 76948 mu of Closing Hillsides for afforestation and 3607 mu of green passage.

Ningxia Lingwu Baijitan National Nature Reserve plays an important role in protecting the Yellow River, maintaining the safety of Hedong airport, and preventing railways and highways from being buried by sand.
