Folklore
Talk and pass one
It is said that during the Southern Song Dynasty, an official surnamed Xu fled to Chian because of the war. When he rushed to Yazhi Street Village and ran along the stream, he could not bear the scorching sun. At the bend of the stream at the entrance of the village, he just wanted to wash away the dust and sweat.
Unexpectedly, when he was washing well, a rainstorm suddenly came. He drenched his clothes on the bank. He didn't care much. The old man surnamed Xu picked up his robe and ran to the village to escape the rain, but he didn't know that he had left his official seal by the stream.
after rain the sky looks blue. At this time, a little girl led the sheep home along the stream. As she walked, the little girl saw the official seal left by the master. Illiterate she looked left and right, always feel this heavy thing is a rare thing, so one hand holding the sheep rope, one hand holding the palace seal waiting for the owner to claim.
After waiting for one hour and another, the second rainstorm came again. When the father saw that his daughter had been herding sheep for a long time, he was worried, so he put on a coir raincoat and went to find the way. In the rain, the father understood his daughter's intention of waiting. Without saying a word, he put his daughter in his arms and let the rain and the sun shine. He sat along the stream and waited foolishly
A pair of waiting father and daughter, so permanently fixed in people's legend about the ancient moon bridge. In the dead of night, when the anxious official surnamed Xu went back to the stream and took out all his money to thank him, the scene ended with the father and daughter's words of "originally your things, we don't want any reward". Finally, the official materialized his gratitude in the form of a bridge and stood on the stream in the west of Yazhi Street forever.
Legend 2
There is another legend about Guyue bridge. It is said that an official of the Southern Song Dynasty, after traveling thousands of mountains and rivers, took a fancy to the good mountains and waters in Chian, and finally built a large house near Yazhijie village to settle down. The ancient moon bridge is a man-made bridge in the back garden of the mansion. Looking at the geographical location of the ancient moon bridge and the elegant and quiet rural scenery around it, it makes sense. After all, legend is a legend, and its credibility can not be studied deeply. However, for hundreds of years, Guyue bridge, which has quietly provided convenience for the villagers of Yazhi street, has experienced many vicissitudes of life. It is still as simple as ever. It lies on the Longxi River steadily, listening to the gurgling water, and paying attention to the people and things of Yazhi street. In its eyes, Yazhi street is a simple and honest village, which has cultivated proud people.
Related allusions
Zhu Xianwen is one of them. If you don't believe it, just look at the green trees planted along the stream by the side of Guyue bridge and listen to the old people's comments on their ancestor Zhu Xianwen, you can see that there are so many similarities between Guyue bridge and Zhu Xianwen
Zhu Xianwen (1872-1949), formerly known as changhuang and named Yutang, is the most famous "great man" in the history of Yazhijie village. In the 34th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, there was a Jinshi in Zhu's family who had been farming for generations. He was Zhu Xianwen. Zhu Xianwen became a member of the Council after he was promoted to the Department of law and politics. After the founding of the Republic of China, he successively served as counsellor of the Legislative Affairs Bureau of the State Council, magistrate of Dali, director of the high court of the capital, etc. During the Anti Japanese War, at the invitation of the national government, he inspected the judicial affairs of Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Fujian provinces, and served as the president of the Zhejiang provincial provisional Council. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he saw the country fall into civil war again, and sighed that he was weak when he saw the country in chaos. So he resigned and returned to Yazhijie village to live a farming life of working at sunrise and resting at sunset.
Different from the hermits who lived in the mountains and forests, Zhu Xianwen, who had been in politics all his life, was miserable and helpless after returning to his hometown. When he was in office, although he was in a high position, he had no choice but to pawn his ancestral property when he returned home at the age of 74. What makes him most helpless is that he actively participated in current affairs all his life. He was once ecstatic about success and failure, but he was patriotic in the end. He could not see the poor people get rid of the deep suffering. In the year of decline, he finally retreated.
Those elderly people in yaqiajie village still remember clearly that Zhu Xianwen, who was then in the sedan chair to visit his relatives in his hometown, always abided by his "three no's". The first is not to sit on the uphill, the second is not to sit in the village, and the third is that the sedan chair man is not to sit on the table. This kind of "three no" is very valuable to a senior official who returned to his hometown. Not only that, Zhu Xianwen was considerate of the disabled and devoted himself to advocating equality between men and women. According to the old people, Zhu Xianwen lost his spouse when he was 30 years old. When his career gradually reached its peak, he met a civilian's daughter, the second wife who had serious leg disease at that time. All his life, Zhu Xianwen has cared for his disabled daughter-in-law. The couple helped each other and spent their whole life together.
The local old man recalled that after Zhu Xianwen returned to the countryside, people in the village often saw him planting trees with a hoe on his back, from the village all the way to the outside of Guyue bridge Now, the green trees on the side of Guyue bridge are growing vigorously
daily management
Yiwu Museum and Chian town jointly took measures to strengthen the protection of Guyue bridge, a national cultural relic protection unit. Guyue bridge, located in Yazhi Street Village, Chian, was built in the Song Dynasty in 1213 ad, with a history of 789 years.
