The completion of Liaohe River Bridge will divert the vehicles on the 305 National Highway in the upper reaches of Liaohe River, relieve the traffic pressure of Tianzhuangtai bridge on 305 national highway, and ensure the smooth transportation of trunk highway. The bridge will facilitate the travel of residents on both sides of the Liaohe River, so that some Yingkou residents living on the North Bank of the Liaohe River can go to work directly through the bridge.

Liaohe River Bridge is a large-scale bridge in coastal highway engineering of Liaoning Province. It is located at the entrance of Daliao River in southwest Liaoning Province. It crosses Daliao River and connects Yingkou and Panjin. The starting point is located in the north of Xinxing street in Yingkou City, connecting with Yingkou Binhai Highway, and the ending point is connected with Yingpan highway. The project adopts the technical standard of six lane first-class highway combined with urban road function design, and the design speed is 80km / h. It is planned to be completed by the end of 2010 and will become one of the landmark buildings in Liaoning Province. The project has the characteristics of large scale, difficult construction and tight construction period.

The seismic fortification intensity of Liaohe bridge is 7 degrees, which can resist the strong wind once in a hundred years and the tide level once in 300 years. Considering the economic development of Yingkou and Panjin, the Liaohe River bridge can be designed to pass 10000 DWT sea going ships.

Opening time

After 747 days of hard work, the Liaohe River Bridge has been completed. According to the latest requirements of the owners, the provincial Party committee and government held the opening ceremony of Liaohe bridge on September 28, 2010.

The construction of Liaohe bridge started on August 11, 2008, with a contract period of 29 months. It was originally planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of December 2010. Through the joint efforts of all builders, the project was put into operation on September 28, three months ahead of the original contract period. Since the commencement of the bridge, the bored pile foundation of the main pylon pier and part of the bored piles of the approach bridge have been completed in 2008; in 2009, the whole bridge foundation has been completed, the substructure has been basically completed, and the construction task of the upper beam body is more than half; in 2010, the superstructure of the whole bridge has been completed, and the steel box girder of the main bridge has been successfully closed on July 22, and the concrete continuous box girder of the approach bridge has been first closed and connected on July 26. After the completion of the Liaohe River Bridge, the 1443 km long coastal highway in Liaoning Province will be connected, which will become one of the new landmarks in Liaoning Province. While the Liaohe River Bridge has become a material monument of Liaoning and Shenyang, the Liaohe River Bridge spirit of "unity, struggle, learning and innovation" will also become a spiritual monument of the people of China Railway Bridge in the northeast.
