Taipingchuan economic development zone is located in the northwest of Changling County, Jilin Province, and the westernmost of Songyuan City. The whole district covers an area of 400 square kilometers, with an urban area of 20 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 5 community committees, 26 residents committees and 10 villagers committees, with a permanent resident population of 50000 and an agricultural population of 150000.

First, convenient transportation. Pingqi and tongrang railways cross the area, with a secondary station and 162 trains per day. Changbai highway runs through the whole territory, and the second-class highway from Baicheng to Siping (Qi double line) was completed in 2004.

It is located in the border junction of two provinces (Jilin Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) and four cities (Songyuan, Baicheng, Siping and Zhemeng). Taipingchuan economic development and opening up zone has party and government office, economic office, social management office and finance office.

（1） Party and government office

Resource advantages

In the specific work, the "one white and one green" project will be fully implemented

"Yibai" refers to the development and construction of 64 new vegetable production areas with an area of 60000 square meters along the Changbai line in Shuangfeng, Xinmin and Tiedong villages. Among them, in Shuangfeng Village, it is planned to develop a 100000 square meter, 100 building greenhouse vegetable production new area in three years. In 2004, the first phase of the project was implemented. 24 greenhouses with an area of 20000 square meters were developed, 24 nursing houses were built, 12 wells were drilled, 15 poles were erected, and the lines were extended by 1000 meters. The total investment was about 150000 yuan. The project is currently under construction and can be put into production in autumn.

In addition, 20 greenhouses with an area of 20000 square meters will be built in Xinmin village and Tiedong village respectively, which are now in the stage of financing.

"One green" means to develop and build 20 hectares of orchards with high standard, high starting point and high quality in 39 villages.

We accelerated the construction of seven residential areas.

(1) Plastic film community:

At present, there are 1345 greenhouses (320 solar greenhouses) in taipingchuan Town, with a total area of 4.03 million square meters and an annual output value of 8.4 million yuan.

Taipingchuan Town, on the basis of further expanding the scale of Tiexi village's greenhouse vegetable production base, focuses on Tiedong, Shuangfeng, Xinfeng and Xinmin villages, develops and constructs a new greenhouse vegetable area, and increases support in capital and land use

(2) Linguo community

There are 170 orchards with an area of 200 hectares and 120000 fruit trees in taipingchuan town. This year, taipingchuan town and taipingchuan Forest Farm exchanged woodlands to develop 10 new orchards in the east of yujiatun, 39 village, covering an area of 20 hectares. Recently, Baicheng Academy of forestry has been invited to plan and design the community. The community plans to plant marketable high-quality seedlings from Baicheng Academy of forestry in autumn.

(3) Miscellaneous grains and beans community

The clam village and Shuangfeng Village in taipingchuan town are mostly sandy loam soil, which has a unique natural advantage in planting coarse grains and beans. In 2004, we will continue to increase their planting area, including 1000 hectares of mung bean, and expand the planting area of other economic crops: 600 hectares of edible sunflower, 450 hectares of peanut, 400 hectares of sesame, and 500 hectares of oil sunflower. The edible sunflower of clam village and the mung bean of Shuangfeng should be registered.
