Xiaofu river is the mother river of Zibo. It originates from the north foot of Yueyang mountain, Gushan Town, Boshan District, passes through Boshan city from south to north, passes through Zichuan District and Zhangdian District, and enters Zouping County about 500m to the west of daqilizhuang, Zhoucun District. It is divided into two streams at lujiazhuang gate of Zouping County. One stream enters Shengli River (the flood diversion channel of Xiaofu River), flows northward through Zouping and Huantai, and enters Xiaoqing River at Xinzhuang of Huantai County . The other is the old river course, which flows to the northeast, entering Huantai County in the east of Shengcun village, Zouping County, passing through Mata lake, and entering Xiaoqing River through preparatory river. From the source of Yueyang River to the estuary, the total length is 135.9 km, including 108.6 km in Zibo.

In June 2015, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government decided to carry out the whole basin governance of Xiaofu River and build Xiaofu River Wetland Park around the construction of the ecological water system of "eight river connection, six water sharing and clean water moistening the city".

The park is close to Mashang No.1 middle school and BofA fruit wholesale market, only 3km away from Zhangdian District government. Close to Mashang station (temporarily closed to passenger transport)

Development history

Xiaofu River Wetland Park is located in the middle reaches of Xiaofu River, southwest of the main urban area, which is the core project of ecological water system construction. The total length of the river is 7.3km, involving 4 towns and 22 villages in Zhangdian District, including Fujia Town, Mashang Town, Zhoucun District, Nanjiao town and Beijiao town. Before treatment, the narrowest part of the river is only 40m, and the widest part is between 80m. The water surface area of the river is less than 500mu, and the silt and garbage are all over the river. There are a large number of sewage enterprises on both sides of the river, and the environmental condition is poor. There are some roads on both sides of the river, which can not meet the needs of flood control. This section of the river is a dangerous section. In 1964, a breach occurred, causing 56 villages to be flooded and 6 people to die.

In June 2015, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government decided to carry out the whole basin governance of Xiaofu River and build Xiaofu River Wetland Park around the construction of the ecological water system of "eight river connection, six water sharing and clean water moistening the city". The project started in June 2015 and is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

The project construction mainly includes four parts: first, water conservancy project: including river dredging, bank slope protection, by-pass pipeline, new Manan road air shield gate and Binbo highway air shield gate, etc., which can reach the flood control standard of once-in-a-hundred years after treatment. Second, landscape engineering: covering an area of 3200 mu, including landscaping, architecture, bridges, hydrophilic footpath, Riverside greenway, Shanghai Road Landscape River and other projects. Third, supporting road projects: including Shanghai Road South extension project, Heping Road widening and reconstruction project and Changguo road Xiaofu River Bridge Reconstruction Project. Fourth, leisure and entertainment projects: mainly including children's paradise, music fountain, leisure and fitness projects.

Main attractions

Golden Sands Beach

Golden beach area of nearly 5000 square meters, to meet the main square area of children's play needs. In addition, a large sunshine beach with an area of nearly 30000 square meters will be built in area D1, with beach children's activity facilities and beach volleyball to meet the needs of different age groups.

Lake Island

The total area of Huzhong island is about 2.78 hectares (42 mu). The perimeter is 640 meters. There are Qifeng tower, siqixuan, cruise terminal, Main Garden Road (528m), waterfront trail, green planting and so on. Qifeng pagoda covers an area of 1662 square meters. It is an antique pagoda building, which is composed of three parts: base, veranda, flower gate and seven story tower. The main structure of the building is reinforced concrete structure, and the veranda and flower gate guard are traditional wood structures.

Suspension bridge

Suspension bridge is a channel connecting both sides of the river, with beautiful shape. The use of suspension structure, wood pavement, to bring visitors a different experience. In addition, Yuanshan Avenue auxiliary road bridge, Fanyang River Bridge and two air shield gate bridges are built in the park to form the traffic network connecting the two sides of the park.

musical fountain

The shape of the fountain is Qi Dao coin (Qi Culture) and rose flower (city flower), with a total of 1500 nozzles,

The main jet height is 80 meters. Around the fountain, the viewing area is distributed in the main square, Yulan square, qugang fish watching and paradise. It can be viewed from many angles by the public.

Cultural wall

Qi culture wall, ceramic culture wall, three celebrities wall, idiom culture wall, filial piety culture wall. It reflects the profound cultural heritage of Zibo area, adds cultural atmosphere for the park, and makes the citizens taste the cultural characteristics of Zibo area in the process of sightseeing.

Air shield gate

The water level of Xiaofuhe Wetland Park is controlled by the air shield gate of Binbo Expressway and Manan road. After treatment, the flood discharge standard of the river reaches 100 year return period. The water retaining height of the air shield gate of Binbo expressway is 5M and the length is 100m, which is the largest single span air shield gate in China. With the technology imported from the United States, the arbitrary height of 0-5m can be controlled in flood season, and the contradiction between flood control and landscape can be solved to the maximum extent. Manan road air shield sluice is 3M high and 100m long. The two-stage air shield sluice has a total water storage capacity of 5 million cubic meters, a water surface area of 2300 mu, an average water depth of 3 m, and a continuous sailing length of 5 km.
