Taoshan National Forest Park, built in 1980, is located in the construction area of Taoshan Forestry Bureau, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province (the administrative area is under the jurisdiction of Tieli city). In the construction area, there is hajia line (from Harbin to Jiamusi), and Jine provincial highway (from Jixi to Nehe) passing through the main scenic spots. It is the source of the upper reaches of Hulan River and the southwest gate of Yichun city. Taoshan is rich in tourism resources. There are Pingdingshan, the highest peak of Xiaoxing'an Mountain, Taoshan international breeding and hunting ground, xuanyangfeng National Geopark (AAAA grade scenic spot), hongsong primeval forest in Xiaodonggou, Taoyuan lake, Baxian lake, Taoshan ancient cave, Mingming temple, a century old temple, etc. Since 2014, Taoshan has also built two high-end Four Seasons Hot Springs: Taoshan forest jade hot spring and Taoshan Four Seasons Hot Spring Resort Hotel, the latter is a five-star Hot Spring Hotel, which rapidly upgrades the tourism environment of Taoshan. Taoshan National Forest Park in Heilongjiang Province was officially approved by the Ministry of forestry in 1997. It is one of the earliest national forest parks in China. It has received tourists from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Former party and state leaders Zhao Ziyang and Wang Renzhong visited Taoshan twice and also received celebrities from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan such as Zeng Xianzi, Wang Mingquan and Chen Xiangtao.

Historical evolution

Taoshan National Forest Park was invested by Taoshan Forestry Bureau in 1980.

In 2009, xuanyangfeng scenic spot was approved as a national geopark by Heilongjiang Provincial Department of land and resources.

In 2012, xuanyangfeng scenic spot was approved as AAAA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.

Animal resources

Taoshan natural wildlife breeding and hunting ground covers an area of 21000 hectares. It is a low mountain and hilly area with good vegetation conditions. Xuanyangfeng

It covers an area of 707 hectares and the highest peak is 900 meters above sea level. It is a typical forest eco-tourism scenic spot. Because all the conditions here are suitable for the survival of goats, goats live on cliffs or hanging on trees most of the time to escape predators. Therefore, the name of the goat here is xuanyang, and the mountain peak is also named xuanyang peak.

Xiaohulan River

Xiaohulan river is the source of Hulan River. One is the upper Hulan River, which originates from the upper reaches of the struggle forest farm and reaches 3km to the west of Taoshan. It joins the lower xiaohulan River and flows into the Hulan River. The whole river is 67.5km long. The other is the lower small Hulan River, which is the longest of the two main sources of Hulan River. 22 Lin Ban, which originates from Jiling forest farm, flows to the west of Taoshan mountain, converges with the small Hulan River, and flows into the Hulan River. The whole river is 70 km long (within the park). Both rivers are the source of Hulan River. The little Hulan River is an unpolluted river with beautiful scenery on both sides. Sometimes the river is slow, sometimes fast, and there is no danger. The drifters wear colorful life jackets and take Russian military double rubber boats down the river. Taoyuan Lake

Taoyuan lake is 12 kilometers away from Taoshan railway station. The road is a special road for tourism. The lake covers 52 hectares and the water depth is about 10 meters. There are carp, crucian carp, silver carp, grass and other freshwater fish in the lake. Visitors can take all kinds of boats for sightseeing and fishing. Baxian Lake

Taoshan hunting ground

Taoshan hunting ground is the first international wildlife hunting ground in China. It began to be used in 1984. Taoshanzhuang, located at the junction of Songnen Plain and the southern foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, has an average altitude of 400 meters, with the highest altitude of 1429 meters. The hunting ground is composed of more than 21000 hectares of hunting areas and more than 200000 hectares of animal resources reserves. The hunting ground is a natural habitat for birds and animals, including red deer, black bear, wild boar, roe deer, goat, lynx, otter, Swertia deer, snow rabbit, etc. There is a hotel in the hunting ground and a villa style hunting camp on the mountain.
