Ganzhou forest zoo is located in Shahe Avenue, Zhanggong District, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It is the largest zoo in the marginal cities of Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and Hunan provinces. It is also the only zoo within 300 kilometers of Ganzhou City. The zoo covers an area of more than 300 mu. In the zoo, there are three areas: animal performance area, animal viewing area and animal stocking area. In the animal performance area, there are one animal performance hall and one bird performance hall. Basic introduction

Ganzhou forest zoo has 138 kinds of animals, including 32 kinds of mammals, 86 kinds of birds and 20 kinds of reptiles. There are not only two national treasures, Princess panda and Hanyuan, but also more than 1000 foreign squirrel monkeys, long tailed monkeys and black swans. There are also national first-class protected animals, such as Red Crowned Crane, Oriental White Stork and sika deer, and second-class protected animals, such as red panda, macaque, Sumen antelope and chamois.

There are lion, black bear, brown bear, golden cat, beaver, wild boar, monkey and so on. In addition, there are waterfowl lake, amphibious reptile hall, giant panda hall, sea lion hall, ostrich area, EMU area, red panda hall, lotus pond, hundred birds garden, children's pet garden, bear pond, Monkey Mountain and other scenic spots.
