Yuefei's tomb is located in the southwest corner of nanzhouliu village, Guxian Township in the east of the county. It was built in the reign of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty. Now it covers an area of 12690 square meters, with 3 tombs, 9 ancient cypresses and 9 inscriptions. It is the burial place of Yue Feizhi's great grandparents, such as Yang's, Zuli's, Xu's and Fuhe's. The original worship hall, ritual gate, altar and veranda hall were all destroyed in the cultural revolution. In 1978, it was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit. In 1986, a wall was built for protection. In 1999, the mother-in-law temple and xiao'e temple were built. In 2000, the gate, main hall, worship platform and other buildings were restored, and the statue of Yue Fei was built in the main hall.

Development and construction

On March 26, 2013, on the occasion of commemorating the 910th anniversary of Yue Fei's birth in many parts of the country, the tomb of Yue Fei in Tangyin County, his hometown, was officially opened to the public.

In recent years, Tangyin County attaches great importance to the cultural construction of Yuefei, and has established a cultural tourism industry development headquarters, under which the "three mountains" comprehensive development project team is specially responsible for the cultural relics protection, scientific planning, development and construction of Yuefei temple, Yuefei tombs and Yuefei's former residence. The county employs a highly qualified planning and design unit to prepare the "development and construction plan for the tomb of Yuefei". The total planning area of the tomb of Yuefei is 1.26 million square meters. The main construction contents include the Statue Garden of Yuefei family celebrities, the Statue Garden of famous generals of past dynasties, and the fruit picking garden. The total investment is expected to be 1.5 billion yuan. Since 2012, Tangyin county has invested 24.5 million yuan to extend national highway 302 to the vicinity of Yuefei Xianying scenic spot, and invested more than 3.5 million yuan to build a stone pedestrian street connecting Yuefei Xianying scenic spot and national highway 302. At the same time, the county invested more than 3 million yuan to renovate the internal facilities of Yuefei's Tomb scenic area, and hired personnel from the Fine Arts Department of Zhengzhou University to shape the statues of Yuefei's ancestors and Yue Xiaoe.

In the next step, the county will start the construction of the second phase project. In the south side of the fast track of Yuefei's first Tomb scenic spot, the exhibition hall of "loyal Yue Fei" shooting scene will be built. In the central sacrifice area of Yuefei's first Tomb scenic spot to 302 provincial road, the Statue Garden of Yuefei's family celebrities and the Statue Garden of famous generals of past dynasties will be built.
