Wu Huang Chan Temple
Wuhuangchan temple is located in Yunjia village, Nanxiashu Town, Wujin District, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, on the west side of Changcao highway. The temple has Tianwang hall, two stories, cornice angle, width 22.6 meters, depth 15.5 meters, construction area 350 square meters, standing four King Kong, height 5.8 meters, Wujin crown. The pool is 30 meters long and 20 meters wide, with an area of 660 square meters. Jiuqu bridge is built in the pool. The pavilion in the center of the bridge provides a 2-meter-high Jade Buddha, which is a view of the temple. The big bell in the temple is 3 meters high, 2 meters in diameter and 5 tons in weight.

history
According to the inscriptions, the temple was first built in 863, the fourth year of Xiantong in Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1140 years. It was originally named Daocheng temple, and changed its name to Yongning Temple in Song Dynasty. It was built in 1522, the first year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, and was named Wuhuang temple. It was repaired in the 11th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1806), and then destroyed in war. It is said that there are 48 ancient wells and 2 existing ones. Four ancient steles.
In 1949, the statue of Buddha was destroyed, and more than 10 temples were converted into schools. In 1995, it was approved as a Buddhist activity site. There are Tianwang hall, Guanyin hall, release pool, Zhaitang, Liaofang, guest room, guest hall and reception room. In 2004, eight Buddha chanting halls with two floors of 960 square meters were built in the northwest of Tianwang hall. The three upper and lower floors in the middle are dizang hall and Sansheng hall, and the rest are guest rooms. Buddha statues, niches and platforms are decorated with gold. It covers an area of 21 mu with a construction area of 4138 square meters.
