Linghu scenic spot
Linghu scenic spot is located in the center of Linghu Road, Yingjiang District, Anqing City, Anhui Province. By the end of 2013, the total area of Linghu scenic spot was 4.496 square kilometers, including 2.107 square kilometers of water surface and 2.389 square kilometers of land.
As of the end of 2013, Linghu scenic area includes Linghu Park, Lianhu Park, Wanjiang Park and cultural square, which is composed of five lakes, namely, Linghu lake, Lianhu lake, xiaolinghu lake, East Lake and West Lake. East Lake and West Lake are called Great Lakes.
In 2007, "comprehensive renovation project of Linghu scenic spot in Anqing City, Anhui Province" won "China living environment model award". In 2011, according to the evaluation of the National Tourism Administration, Linghu scenic spot in Anqing city became a national 4A scenic spot.
Development history
Linghu lake is connected with the Great Lake (duantang Lake), in the northeast corner of Anqing City, with a total area of eight square kilometers. In the old days, it was famous for its rich production of lotus root and fish and shrimp. It used to be a natural lake with small islands in it. In the late Kangxi period, the Kangxi river was excavated. It has a history of more than 260 years since the introduction of white lotus and red lotus from Hangzhou eight hundred years ago.
In the old Ming Dynasty, there was a stone tablet named "Yicheng natural moat" in Leshi when he was stationed in Anqing. Now there are exquisite stone carvings by Deng Shiru, a great calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty. In 1921, Jiang Gaoqi, Zhou Zhaoji and Zhou's wife Huang Jiafu, who died in the struggle against warlords, were buried together in the northeast corner of the lake during the "June 2" school movement in Anhui Province, which shocked the whole country. Stone statues of three people are also carved on the wall of the memorial hall. On June 2 every year, martyr Jiang's blood clothes are displayed in the pavilion.
After liberation, Linghu was expanded. In the garden, the trees are luxuriant and the pavilions are scattered. There are zoos, children's paradise, dry skating rink, boat park; built 800 square meters of greenhouse and flower house and elegant tea house near the water; opened up the lakeside road, built a new stone revetment along the lake; cultivated four seasons of color change of trees and bamboos, added rare birds and animals, and installed large amusement machines.

The scope of Linghu scenic spot is west of longmianshan Road, north of linghu'nan Road, east of green space on the west side of Huxin Middle Road, south of Linghu North Road, and Linghu Park and West Lake scenic spot. Huxin middle road runs through the whole scenic spot.
Main attractions
Linghu Lake wins by water, with rippling green waves and crisscross channels; the small island in the middle of the lake is lined with pavilions and bamboos; the boat racing on the water is full of laughter. Summer and autumn season, Ling lotus lush, lotus Douyan, everywhere with intoxicating fragrance. In the season of fishing, when the moon is shining in the sky, you can go boating on the surface of the lake, pole oars to light the water, relax your throat and sing a song. The artistic conception is beautiful, and the scenery is particularly charming. It has long been known as "Linghu night moon" and is also a scenic spot. The Square Pavilion with double eaves, which is hidden in the depths of green lotus, is also known as the night moon Pavilion in order to enjoy the beautiful scenery of "Linghu night moon". A statue of Yan Fengying, a performing artist of Huangmei Opera, is also erected in the park.
Linghu Park
Linghu park is located in Linghu Road, Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is built around Linghu lake. Linghu lake is named after duoling lake. It was originally a natural lake, connected with Shitang lake and Pogang lake. Built around the revolution of 1911, the park covers an area of 38.64 hectares. It is the earliest garden style park in Anhui Province. It is famous for Linghe landscape and Linghu night moon scenic spot.
Linghu used to be an ancient battlefield for military strategists in the past dynasties. The Taiping Army's three conquering Anqing and the famous anqing defense war left traces here. At that time, the Taiping Army built 13 barracks on the North Bank of Linghu lake and 5 barracks on the south bank. In 1985, 18 weapons of Taiping army were unearthed from yangjiazui barracks on the north bank, which were collected by China Military Museum and anqing Museum respectively. In Linghu Park, there are nine pieces of self portraits, self inscribed poems and seal inscriptions of Deng Shiru, an outstanding calligrapher and seal Carver in the Qing Dynasty, which are embedded in huqigu temple and rebuilt into "Deng Shiru stele Museum". In the northeast of the night moon Pavilion, the famous Huangmei opera performance artist Yan Fengying memorial hall, which is composed of Huangmei Pavilion gatehouse, memorial hall, Yan Fengying statue and garden sketches, has been built. It contains works presented by more than 40 famous calligraphers and painters at home and abroad. In addition, there are children's amusement park, bonsai garden, flower garden, nursery, zoo, tea house and other facilities in the park. It has become a comprehensive park for tourists to enjoy themselves and will be open to the public free of charge since January 1, 2007.
Lianhu Park
Anqing Lianhu park is located in the southeast of Linghu scenic area. It is named after Lianhu lake, formerly known as chunguangyuan. It was built in 1985. In the park, there are statues of Cheng Changgeng and Wu Liangzhu, the "iron and steel soldier fighting against floods", who died bravely for the urban waterlogging in Anqing in 1998. In the southeast corner of the park, there is anqing revolutionary cultural relics exhibition hall, which displays the life story of general diplomat Huang Zhen.
Wanjiang Park (Citizen Square)
It is located between Lianhu lake and Donghu Lake, with a total land area of 34.68 hectares. Originally known as citizen Park, it was built on May 1, 2007. At the beginning of November of the same year, the municipal government approved that citizen Park and citizen square should be renamed as Wanjiang Park and Wanjiang square. The park is divided into four functional areas: Entertainment scenic area, commercial and cultural area, Huangmei Opera Art Park and ecological landscape area. The commercial and cultural district is the core area of the citizen Park, the urban public activity center with strong function, and also the main place for citizens' leisure and entertainment after the completion. The center has two buildings a and B, with a total area of 23400 square meters, for commercial, exhibition and other purposes. As an important part of the landscape of the citizen Park, Wanjiang square is oval in plane, with a total area of 2.61 hectares. There are large fountains in the square, and 12 relief columns are erected around the square, on which 12 new scenes of Anqing are carved. Xiaoling lake landscape area covers an area of 80 mu, and together with the green belt running through the park, it forms a unique ecological landscape area. Along the coast of Xiaoling lake, there are scenic spots such as sunshine beach, viewing platform, wooden trestle, etc.
Anqing Cultural Plaza
By the end of 2012, Anqing Cultural Plaza is located on the North Bank of Linghu scenic spot, with a total construction area of 102000 square meters. There is a wooden hydrophilic platform on the water surface along the lake bank, and a waterscape performance system is set on the south side of the platform. The fountain water curtain is 380 meters in total length, 100 meters in width, 128 meters in maximum spray height, nearly 3000 spray heads, and 5000 underwater colored lights. It is one of the largest water curtain film systems in China.
