Xiangyang Temple
In 1616 (the 44th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty), Nuerhachi, the Taizu of the Qing Dynasty, unified all the departments of Nuzhen, called Han, and designated the state as Dajin. In history, Nuerhachi was called Houjin, with the year name of Tianming, and the capital in hetuala.
At that time, although the Ming Dynasty, after Zhang Juzheng took over the post of the first assistant, and with the support of Empress Dowager Li, carried out a series of political and economic reforms in the first year of Wanli (1573), the Zhu Ming Dynasty, which was in the crisis of rule, had a short-term recovery and prosperity. But unfortunately, it didn't last long. After the death of Zhang Juzheng in the 10th year of Wanli (1582), the bureaucrats who opposed the reform attacked and framed Zhang Juzheng one after another. The reform was abolished, and the imperial court was declining day by day.

Brief introduction to the temple
Xiangyang temple is an ancient temple of Ming Dynasty, located in Xiuhu scenic spot at the north foot of Qipan mountain. Xiangyang ancient temple was built in 1575 ad, belonging to the sect of Buddhism, which is very famous in the local history of Liaoshen. It is said that before entering the pass, Nurhachi, the emperor Taizu of the Qing Dynasty, talked with the old abbot in Xiangyang temple and realized his life. Maosai suddenly opened up, so he won the world at one stroke and established the Qing Dynasty. Among the Qing Dynasty cultural relics collected in Shenyang Palace Museum, there are more than 20 poems praising Xiangyang temple. Xiangyang temple covers an area of several hundred mu, with two floors of halls. The upper hall is dedicated to the whole body statues of Bodhisattvas and the eighteen Arhats, painted with color murals; the lower hall is dedicated to the four heavenly kings. There is a brick tower and a Buddhist hall on the south side of the hall. The plaque on the gate of the hall is high and engraved with the word "Shuangfeng cuishui". The original temple has been destroyed, and now the Xiangyang temple is rebuilt according to its original appearance.
After reconstruction, Xiangyang temple is located on the South Bank of Xiuhu reservoir in Qipanshan scenic spot, with a planning area of 30000 square meters and a construction area of 9999 square meters. Taking "Nine" as the number of land occupation means auspicious and noble. In the temple, there are main buildings, such as Daxiong hall, Guanyin hall, Tianwang hall, bell and Drum Tower, archway gate and so on. Among them, the main hall is the most magnificent, which occupies the highest point of the whole temple, overlooking the overall situation, majestic. In addition, there are Buddhist Chanting hall, Xiangyang spring and other landscapes. The ancient trees of the temple are luxuriant, solemn and solemn, and the layout is naturally undulating and well arranged according to the mountain. After the reopening of Xiangyang temple, there are monks living in all the year round, and carry out a series of religious activities.
