Yongjiang Bridge

Yongjiang bridge is located in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China. It is an urban bridge connecting Jiangbei and Jiangdong districts.

The main bridge is a 105 + 97 (m) unequal span prestressed concrete single tower cable-stayed bridge, and the approach bridge adopts prestressed concrete hollow slab structure, with a total length of 588.62m. The total width of the main bridge deck is 26m, which is designed according to the urban bridge standard. The width of the roadway is 15m, the width of the sidewalks on both sides is 3M, and a 2.25m protective cable belt is set between the roadway and the sidewalk. The deck width of approach bridge is 21.5m. The cable-stayed bridge is a consolidation system of tower, pier and beam. The two cable planes are arranged in harp style with a cable distance of 8m. There are 11 pairs of cables in the whole bridge. Domestic PE hot extrusion cable sleeve protection technology is adopted for the cable. The height of the portal tower is 52m, and it is artistically treated. The main beam is a semi closed double box section with air nozzle. The beam height is 2m, the top width is 24m, the cantilever length on both sides is 2.5m, the bottom width is 13m, a beam is set every 4m, and three-way prestress is arranged. The upper structure is constructed by hanging basket. The main bridge tower pier foundation is 32 bored piles with diameter of 160cm and length of 65m. The bearing platform is 35m long, 15.5m wide and 5m high. It was completed and opened to traffic in June 1992. Designed by Zhejiang Provincial Transportation Survey and Design Institute, constructed by Shanghai Municipal Engineering Company.
