Wenhua New Village
Wenhua new village is composed of eight buildings, all of which are headed by the word "Wen", so it is also known as BaWen building. Wenhua new village, formerly known as youmadi wharf warehouse and the old gas plant of China Gas Company, was purchased by jianian enterprise in 1955 and developed into a residential building in 1961. Due to its proximity to the Jordan Road pier and bus terminus at that time, it had attracted many middle-class people. At the time of the sale, more than 3000 units in Wenhua new village were sold for nearly 160 million, which made the developers get a lot of profits.
Wenhua new village is an old residential estate in Hong Kong. It is located on Jordan Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon. The developer is a jianian enterprise.
Among the eight buildings in Wenhua new village, all of them have street access, and the buildings are arranged in the shape of "Tian". The unique environment of Wenhua new village has also become a shooting site for many films. For example, the big event directed by Du Qifeng was filmed in Wenhua new village.
