Nanshan Library

Nanshan library is a public library invested by Nanshan District Government of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the central section of Nanshan District. It is one of the landmark cultural buildings in Nanshan District.

The Library covers an area of 13700 square meters, with a building area of 16400 square meters. It has a collection of 600000 books and more than 900 reading seats. The foundation was laid in 1994 and officially opened to the outside world on March 28, 1997. By the end of 2005, it had collected nearly 460000 books, including more than 110000 e-books of more than 40000 kinds.

Since its opening, Nanshan library has adhered to the concept of "reader oriented" and "service first", and implemented open service. The public can enter the library without any certificates, and all books and periodicals can be borrowed from open shelves. It opens 365 days a year. Events from July to September 2007

From July 3 to 14, Comrade Yu Ziniu attended the 2006 training course for section level cadres in Nanshan District. From July 11 to 15, all the party members and the general Party branch of the Culture Bureau went to Yan'an, the holy land of revolution, to visit and study.

On July 14, the "special consultation room" was officially opened to the public. On that day, more than 30 readers consulted on the "latest recruitment and transfer policy".

From July 15 to 21, Chen Ying went to Xichang, Sichuan Province to attend the "2006 Theoretical Seminar of the National Federation of small and medium sized public libraries".

On July 26, we mobilized our staff to donate a total of 5610 yuan to the disaster stricken areas in Shaoguan and Meizhou.

On July 31, 200 copies of books were presented to the first brigade of the sixth armed police detachment and the first brigade of the first marine police detachment respectively, totaling 9432.4 yuan.

On August 4, the "forum on the review of professional style of Nanshan District Cultural System" was held in the multi-function hall on the fourth floor of our library.

From September 12 to 15, Mr. Wu Zhiwei of Zhongguan branch library attended the training class of grassroots libraries and visited Chengdu Library and Chengdu Chenghua District Library.

On September 18-19 and 22-23, our library arranged to hire staff to visit and study in Shaoguan in two batches.

On September 19, the renovation project of the office area on the fourth floor was completed.

On September 25, the trade union organized all employees to Guangming farm to hold the theme activity of "welcoming the Mid Autumn Festival and National Day"

Introduction of branch library

Zhongguan branch

Taoyuan Street Zhongguan branch of Nanshan library is located on the first floor of Building 9, supporting dormitory building, North District of honghualing industrial zone. It is jointly constructed by Shenzhen Nanshan library, Shenzhen Zhongguan Co., Ltd. and Taoyuan Street Office of Nanshan District, Shenzhen city. It provides free services for the general public and migrant workers. Zhongguan Branch Library covers an area of 320 square meters, with a collection of 20000 books, 100 periodicals and 20 newspapers. It now has four full-time staff.

Zhongguan branch library and Nanshan library implement unified acquisition, resource sharing, unified management and unified service. The general library and branch library have basically the same rules for handling certificates and borrowing, and implement universal borrowing and returning, one card for all. In order to celebrate the opening of Zhongguan branch, the first branch of Nanshan library, the top 1000 readers of Zhongguan branch are free of 10 yuan of production cost and 10 yuan of registration fee for one year, and only charge a deposit. In order to facilitate more readers to apply for a library card, a new type of library card, popularization card, is added on the basis of the original ordinary card, children's card and Millennium card of Nanshan library For 50 yuan, you can borrow one book.

Nanshan library Taoyuan Street Zhongguan branch started trial operation on December 26, 2005. During the trial operation period, the opening time is: 15:00-22:30 from Tuesday to Friday; 9:30-18:30 on Saturday and Sunday; and closed on Monday

Tongfuyu branch

Xili tongfuyu industrial city branch of Nanshan Library (hereinafter referred to as tongfuyu branch) is jointly constructed by Shenzhen Nanshan library and Xili Investment Development Co., Ltd. to provide free public library services for migrant workers and surrounding citizens. Tongfuyu branch and Nanshan library use the same management system to borrow and return with Shenzhen Library and other five district libraries. The general library and branch libraries implement unified acquisition and cataloguing, resource sharing, unified management and unified service, and their license handling rules and lending rules are basically the same. They implement universal borrowing and returning, and one card is universal. Now there are five full-time staff.

Tongfuyu branch is located on the second floor of commercial and residential building a, tongfuyu industrial city, Xili Town, Nanshan District, with an area of 580 square meters and 200 reading seats. It has a collection of 30000 books, more than 200 magazines and nearly 20 newspapers. To provide the majority of young migrant workers with newspapers, periodicals, books reading, lending and network information retrieval services. Nanshan library will hold readers' activities such as "popular movies" and "public welfare lectures" in tongfuyu branch, which will play a greater role in improving the cultural quality of migrant workers and citizens and building a harmonious community.

Chiwan branch

Chishan branch of Nanshan library is located on the third floor of Nankai complex building, Chiwan Sixth Road, zhaoshang street, Nanshan District. It was officially opened on October 10, 2008, with a total area of 200 square meters. It is jointly constructed and managed by Shenzhen Nanshan library, China Nanshan Development (Group) Co., Ltd. and Chiwan community workstation of zhaoshang Street office, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. As one of the integrated management members of Nanshan District Public Library, the library is equipped with more than 15000 books, 20 kinds of newspapers, 100 kinds of magazines and 10 sets of electronic reading room equipment. Chiwan branch follows the principle of "equality, public welfare and openness", and provides free book services to the people in its jurisdiction by borrowing books, surfing the Internet and giving lectures. Chiwan branch library and Nanshan District Library implement unified management, one card universal, resource sharing, activity interaction, and can realize the loan and return of books among member libraries and between Shenzhen Library and district libraries. Collection features: mainly for children and literature, holding "public lecture" from time to time.
