Former residence of Wang Yaoqing
Dama temple is the former residence of Wang Yaoqing and Wang Fengqing, the leaders of Tongtian sect. From the 1920s to the early 1950s, it was a gathering place for the opera, literature and art circles.
There are five tall North rooms with a hall in the middle and a Buddhist niche on the record. There are old-fashioned square tables and back chairs in front. On the east side of the hall is a wooden partition fan, and on the horizontal eyebrow of the door is the Zhai name "ancient Mao Xuan" written by Wei Tieshan, a calligrapher in the late Qing Dynasty. As the name suggests, it is the house for collecting antiques, which means ancient; Mao is the name of ancient jade. Wang Yao is fond of antiques, jade, cigarette bottles and celebrity paintings. And the identification ability is very strong, is a gold and stone antiques connoisseur. In those days, antique dealers in the area of gallery Toutiao often came to gumaoxuan to "ask Mr. Wang to take charge." On the north wall of a room on the east side of the partition, there is a picture of Wang Yaoqing's casual clothes, which was painted by the famous painter Jiang Zhaohe in 1940. It is vivid and vivid, and still hangs on the wall. There is a big sofa under the wall. Wooden tea table and chairs are placed under the east wall of the house. Under the south window, there is a capital writing desk. Wang Yaoqing and many famous painters, either single or cooperative, painted many treasures on this desk. Wang yaolao is also a famous Chinese painter. He is famous for painting plum, chrysanthemum and lotus, especially for turtle and shrimp. There is a door through the inner room on the east side. This room is the daughter of Tie Ying, the beloved old fellow, and the bedroom of the nurse. The big wall cabinet and wooden box are placed on the north wall, and the Kang is under the window, and there is a small gate on the east side which can pass through the courtyard.
The two rooms on the west side of the hall are connected to each other. They are Wang Yaoqing's and his wife's bedrooms. Under the north wall is a hardwood cabinet. In front of the cabinet is a heated kang. On the Kang is a Kang Table. Beside the Kang is a drawing fork for hanging calligraphy and painting. On the east wall hang famous people's calligraphy and paintings. There are water pipe bags, fire paper tubes and other smoking utensils on the table below. There is a bird rack by the door. Above the glass windows are cold cloth and rolled windows in summer and Korean paper in winter. Under the window, there are tables, chairs, tea table, washbasin stand and double bed with radio. There is an exquisite hardwood frame on the table under the west wall, with old jade, small antiques, snuff bottles, delicate crickets and cucurbits. There are a lot of refined cricket cans, some of which are treasures from the palace. This house is not only a living room, but also a reception room. It is a school for exchanging skills and spreading Peking opera art.
There are three rooms in the East and three in the West. His uncle and brother Wang Liqing once lived in the west room, while the east room is used for storing props and kitchens. The two and a half West rooms opposite the street gate are special rooms for storing costumes. There are five living rooms in the south room on the left side, half of which have a through door leading to the courtyard. In the courtyard, there is one west room for maids and two East rooms for kitchens.
When you cross the courtyard and enter the South courtyard, you will find Wang Fengqing's home. The south room has a front porch. The three rooms are the upper rooms of the couple. The couplet on the holding column in front of the house is: "the golden, warm, jade, and literary works, the autumn, the spring, and the clouds show the temperament.". The couplet in the main room is: "the essence of the poem is thick, the book review is thin, hard and penetrating", written by Weng Fanggang. On the top of the couplet is Zhang Boying's handwritten name of "Bao Su Xuan". Beifang Sanjian is the residence of Wang Shaoqing, his eldest son. The word "Jing Xing Qing Yun" is written on the horizontal eyebrow of the door. However, these precious ink treasures were all destroyed by ten years of turmoil. The west room was originally occupied by the second son Youqing. Later, because Wang Yao had only one daughter, Youqing adopted her as Aizi. This courtyard is small, narrow and strict, and it has not lived in other families. Therefore, it is well preserved and decorated. Now it is occupied by shaoqingzi and his family. However, although the main house of the north courtyard is inhabited by the descendants of the king's gate, the five North rooms have been separated into single rooms. This courtyard has become a large miscellaneous courtyard and a new small house has been built. The courtyard is obviously narrow and has no appearance.
