Guyangcheng Ruins Park
Guyangcheng site park is located one kilometer south of Guzhen County, Anhui Province, on the South Bank of Huihe River and 200 meters west of Beijing Shanghai railway. It was originally a historical site park built on the basis of Guyang site in Guyang village, Liancheng town. There are nine functional areas in guyangcheng site park, including guyangcheng site protection and exhibition area, bawangcheng site protection and exhibition area in Xiaowangzhuang, site culture development area, ancient city culture revealing area, site culture landscape area, cultural supporting service area, waterfront wetland sightseeing area, public supporting service area and living area.

Guyangcheng Heritage Park is adjacent to the cultural center of Guzhen County, facing the old city across the Huihe River, with a total planning area of about 210 hectares. It is planned and designed by Nanjing University urban planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. According to the planning orientation, it will become a famous archaeological site park in Chuhan County, a first-class complete and lively ancient city in Anhui Province, a tourism leader in Bengbu and a tourism distribution center in Northern Anhui Province, a growth pole of Guzhen city and a cultural tourism and leisure center. According to the overall concept, the archaeological site park system with cultural heritage as the main line will be constructed with guyangcheng site as the core and the characteristics of the base, including five parts: Cultural ontology, cultural convergence, cultural interpretation, cultural style and cultural extension.
Scenery
The first phase of guyangcheng Heritage Park has been basically completed, including the 4000 meter long and 3 meter deep moat, the sightseeing lane and greening works of the East moat, the East and west gate and the east corner wall. The 22200 square meter triangle square outside the east gate is under construction, focusing on the characteristic stone carving, characteristic paving square, characteristic green space, tree array square and waterfront River leisure trail, etc. In the guyangcheng Ruins Park in Nancheng District of Guzhen County, we can see that the moat has run through. On the square outside the east gate, seven huge stones are engraved with "guyangcheng Ruins Park".

In terms of spatial layout, streamline design is adopted to form a time tunnel, which starts from the prehistoric civilization more than 5000 years ago, then goes through the Warring States civilization more than 2500 years ago, then the Han Dynasty civilization more than 2000 years ago, and finally reaches the era of modern civilization. After 5000 years in a day, the image of Guzhen county shows its historical evolution again.
history
Guyang city was built in the early Western Han Dynasty and abandoned in the first year of Tang Xianqing. During this period, Guyang city was ruled as Guyang County, Yangping county and Yangping County for 862 years. Guyang city is located in Guyang County of Pei County in Han Dynasty, and Pei state in later Han Dynasty. During the northern and Southern Dynasties, Yangping county was set up in Guyang city in the Northern Wei Dynasty. During the Taihe period, Guyang county was changed and Guyang city was changed into Guyang Town, commonly known as Guzhen, which gradually evolved into today's Guzhen. In the sixth year of Wuding in the Northern Wei Dynasty, Guyang county was taken back and led to Liancheng and Gaochang counties. In Sui Dynasty, Guyang county was abandoned, and it was still Guyang county. In the first year of Tang Xianqing, Guyang province entered Qi county. Guyangcheng site is more than 2000 years ago. The main body of the site is the square earth City, with each wall of about 1000 meters, covering an area of 1 million square meters. The city has four gates and occupies the center of each side wall. The direction of the site is 0 ゜. Guyangcheng site is about 3 meters higher than the surrounding area. The average residual height of the city wall is 3.5 meters, the upper width is 20 meters, and the base width is 30 meters. The cultural layer in the city is 3.5 meters thick. The surface of the site is covered with Han Dynasty debris, various pottery fragments, Han Dynasty building materials, such as floor tiles, etc. Now most of the city is cultivated land, and there are residents living in the north. The guyangcheng site is generally well preserved. In 2004, it was announced as a provincial cultural relics protection unit by Anhui Provincial People's government.
