Engaku-ji

It is said that when creating the rock temple, Sanjia bowl was found in the foundation excavation, which is commonly known as "Sanjia bowl rock", and was destroyed in the fire. There is a well-known spring in the rock. Its Shihori looks like a stone bucket with sweet spring water. It is no less famous than the Longquan in the 18th stone cave of DAHAO. Villagers often draw water here to cook tea. In 1965, the spring hori was abandoned and filled up. This time, when the ancient rock was rebuilt, it was excavated to offer the sweet spring again.

In early 1994, master Shi Yaowei, at the request of the residents, left dahaomei nunnery and came to the hillside pit full of thorns to prepare for the reconstruction of the ancient rock. By the summer of 1997, the main block and back garden were completed. In 2002, Dongxiang and Jialan hall were completed.

The temple sits north and south, with a total construction area of 900 square meters and a total investment of 2.1 million yuan. It is divided into Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, Jialan hall, zushi hall, disaster relief altar and back garden (including shijiaotong releasing pool and dripping Guanyin Pavilion).
