Kaiyuan Hall

Kaiyuan hall is the most majestic statue of Zheng Chenggong in Southeast Asia. The 178 foot high statue has various layers of hardware as its main hall. The national hero Zheng Chenggong cultural relic Memorial Hall contains the ink, weapons, warships, cannons, etc. used by Zheng Chenggong during his lifetime. In the Ming Dynasty, it has rich collection and historical value. It has become a tourist attraction in Taiwan One of the holy places to visit.

Introduction to Zheng Chenggong

Zheng Chenggong, a national hero, was granted the title of Kaitai king, or Kaitai Saint King, national surname ancestor, national surname Lord, Yanping county king, etc. Zheng Chenggong, a national hero, was loyal to the national righteousness. He did not yield to the temptation and coercion of the Manchu and Qing Dynasties, and did not want the Han Dynasty to fall into the rule of other nationalities. Therefore, he insisted on opposing the Qing Dynasty and restoring the Ming Dynasty with great heroic spirit. He embraced the king of GUI in Minxia, and was granted the Royal surname of Yanping. The Ming Dynasty relied on Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangdong to attack the Qing army. In the 15th year of Shunzhi's reign, he directly attacked Jinling and attempted to lose the first World War, but failed. He led more than 25000 of our ancestors across the sea to Taiwan to expel the blue eyed red Maoists from Anping. After Zheng Chenggong entered Taiwan, he began to plan and construct Taiwan, build schools, establish government system, reclaim wasteland, and cultivate troops. However, due to the right time of day, he died before his ambition. Zheng Chenggong won the title of "king of Kaitai". It has been more than two hundred years since Zheng Jiao, the Ministry of foreign affairs, invited the statue of Kaitai king to Taiwan from Quanzhou Prefecture of Fujian Province and settled in chailinjiao, benanpu (today's chailinjiao village, Xikou Township, Jiayi county).

First floor: Central Hall - Mazu hall, right side - Zhusheng Niangniang and Kaitai Zunwang Shengmu, left side - fordshengshen and Gongde hall. Second floor: front hall - jade fengkaitai Zunwang hall, middle hall - Guanyin Buddha Hall, back hall - Sanjiao sage hall, two sides - Sixty Jiazi Taisui Xingjun. Third floor: Baiyang ancestral hall. 4th floor: Wuji palace with fixed schedule. The 5th to 9th floors are Zheng Chenggong cultural relics Memorial. 5th floor: the models of the statue of King Kaitai, the statue of Liu Junshi, the statue of general Gan Hui and the statue of general Wan Li are arranged. 6th floor: inside, there are pictures of the Dutch surrender, the sitting image of general Zunwang, the image of general Maxin, the image of Liu Junshi, the image of Chen Yonghua joining the army, the image of general Baipao, etc. 7th floor: the following items are listed in the wall: 1. Panoramic fixed map of Gulangyu Island. 2. Map of Zheng Chenggong garrison on Gulangyu Island. 3. The picture of Zheng Chenggong's Jinmen Garrison (activity map) and the material objects are placed on both sides of the camp, with bronze cannons in the middle, glazed tiles on the cabinet, and charts, weapons, Wen xuanqian, jade belts and other antiques and other cultural relics inside. 8th floor: the picture of the battle in the open sea of Anping Harbor on January 25, 1662 is placed in the wall. 9th floor: Rural antiquities and cultural relics, ancient scenery on the sea and on the road, and various cultural relics donated by Shanxin.
