Qingxiu temple is located in the east of Xiaheng street, Baita Town, Xianju County, Zhejiang Province. It was first built in the Kaibao period of Song Dynasty (968-976). It was formerly known as the "monastery of Qing Dynasty" and later abandoned. It was rebuilt in the first year of Kaixi (1205) of Song Dynasty, and then it was abolished several times. At the beginning of liberation, monks still lived there. Later, due to the "Cultural Revolution" to stop religious activities, monks walk Temple abandoned.
After the 1980s, religious activities began to resume. Monk Nianjie Abbot renovated the temple, which now has 22 halls and squatters. In 1992, it was approved by the county government as a place for Buddhist activities.
