Chongqing South Road is a street in Huangpu District, Shanghai, China. It was named Luban Road in the concession era. The road is 1537 meters long and 15 to 22.3 meters wide.

Chongqing South Road is a street in Huangpu District, Shanghai, China. It was named Luban Road in the concession era. The road starts from Huaihai middle road to Chongqing Middle Road in the north and ends at Xujiahui Road to Luban Road in the south. It is 1537 meters long and 15 to 22.3 meters wide. Chongqing South Road, named lujiawan Road, was built in 1889 for the public Council of Shanghai French concession. In 1902, Lu Ban, French minister to China, was renamed Avenue dubail to connect Xiafei road and Xujiahui Road. When Wang Jingwei took over the French concession in 1943, it was renamed Lingbao road and Chongqing South Road in 1946.
In 1995, Shanghai North South viaduct passed through Chongqing South Road, 25.5 meters wide. There is no interchange in Chongqing South Road section, and upper and lower ramps are set in the south of Xujiahui Road and Huaihai middle road to connect with the ground road.

Chongqing South Road is traditionally a residential area. The famous modern residences include No.165 Paris apartment, No.169 Paris New Village, no.177-179 Yongfeng Village, No.185 Luban apartment and No.205 wanyifang (No.54 is Zou Taofen's former residence). In the southern section, there are the buildings of Shanghai Second Medical University, the former Sinian University, and the Catholic St. Peter's Hall on Chongqing South Road.
