Erlangtan
Erlangtan. In the campaign of Sidu Chishui, the Red Army carried out a highly flexible and mobile policy of mobile warfare, galloped across the vast border areas of Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan, weaved between hundreds of thousands of enemy troops, actively sought fighters, and effectively annihilated the enemy.
brief introduction
Around the Chishui River, there are many peaks and cliffs. On the west side of the river, hundreds of families live together, forming a unique mountain town called Erlang town. "It's a good Erlang port, surrounded by mountains, with salt on its back every day and light vegetable soup." This folk song is a true portrayal of the life of the poor before the liberation of erlangjin, gukui County, Sichuan Province.
There is a "Red Army Street" in erlangtan, named after the Fourth Red Army crossing the Chishui River. After crossing the Chishui River three times, the Central Red Army reappeared in southern Sichuan. Chiang Kai Shek judged that the Red Army was going to cross the Yangtze River north again, and hastily mobilized heavy troops in an attempt to encircle the Red Army again and "encircle and annihilate" the Red Army in the South Bank of the Yangtze River. When the enemy was about to encircle, Mao Zedong and Zhu De commanded the main forces of the Red Army to secretly turn north again in the Longshan area of Gulin County, and then suddenly turn east. From March 21 to 22, they crossed the Chishui River for the fourth time at erlangtan, jiuxikou and taipingdu, leaving the enemy soldiers on the West Bank of the Chishui River. The people on both sides of the Chishui River saw the scene of the enemy's panic and deployment. They ironically and humorously made up a folk song and sang: "the White army is like a dog, the Red Army is leading everywhere, the White army is like an ox, the Red Army is leading everywhere." After the Red Army left, this street, originally called "old street", was spontaneously renamed "Red Army Street".
Red Army Street was the main traffic road and the most prosperous section of erlangtan at that time, with business and tourism gathering and bustling. Now it seems very quiet, occasionally there are three or two people through. Along the 500 meter long street, along with the steep slope winding up, smooth stone slab into a step channel, the reporter saw a wooden structure building on both sides of the left and right, the door number of red army mountain street is hanging in the conspicuous place. Listen to a few scattered villagers living here, the house has hundreds of years of history, because of disrepair, some have been called dangerous houses. But through these buildings - the tall and majestic facade, the fine carved door handles, and the decoration of the floor space inlaid on the beams, we can still vaguely see the rich family background of the owner of the house at that time. The villagers said that this was the site of the biggest salt shop in Chishui River in those years, and the shops and counters used for trading were well preserved. When we crossed the Chishui River, there was a great event that shocked the whole world. The Red Army confiscated the private salt of the local warlords here, and spent three days and three nights distributing it to the Sichuan and Guizhou people on both sides of the Chishui River, relieving thousands of poor people.
Xiao Hongen
There are still many touching stories between the Red Army and the common people. The story of Xiao Hong En is still popular in erlangtan. The two sons of Deng SHANGZHENG, a teacher in his late 70s, devoted themselves to the work of the underground party. When the troops came to erlangtan, the soldiers lived in front of his house and cooked in the yard. At this time, the news came that Deng Guoshu, the youngest son, was killed in Zunyi. Deng Guolin, the eldest son, said goodbye to his wife who was about to give birth and went to Zunyi to take care of his younger brother's affairs. At night, Deng Guolin's wife was about to give birth. When the Red Army at the door heard her cry, the instructor immediately called for the health worker. Soldiers at the door to help boil water, disinfection equipment, has been busy until midnight, the child was born safely. The health worker took off his clothes, wrapped up the child and held it in Deng SHANGZHENG's hand. Seeing that his grandson was born safely under the careful care of the Red Army, Deng SHANGZHENG immediately named the child "Hong En". He said that the Red Army had saved his grandson. He would like to thank the Red Army and never forget the kindness of the Red Army. After Xiao Hong En was born, the soldiers gave the Deng family the only bit of pork. Deng SHANGZHENG suffered from hemiplegia. When the weather changed, one of his hands was very painful. When a soldier heard about it, he gave him a pair of gloves. This pair of gloves is now in the museum collection.
Erlangtan also spread such a ballad: Chishui River clear and clear, I play straw sandals to send the Red Army. Put on straw sandals, climb the mountains and go north to fight against Japan. Chishui River is clear and clear, a pair of straw sandals, a heart, the long march on the road to sow fire, workers and peasants united to turn over. The Chishui River is clear and clear. I send straw sandals to thank the Red Army. The army and the people are as affectionate as Chishui. It will last forever
