In 2003, under the guidance of the important thought of "Three Represents", the municipal government attached great importance to yishoushan, a public activity place, and allocated 4 million yuan to repair yishoushan park. For a time, stone steps were built at the South and West foot of Yishou mountain. At the top of the mountain, a blue stone road connecting the East and the West was built along the mountain. These newly built mountain roads are three meters wide, all paved with granite and bluestone, crisscross, and run up and down. The lush and green Yishou mountain seems to be tied with a blue ribbon.

The renovation project of Yishou mountain also includes the construction of a large square with an area of more than 50000 square meters on the northern hillside.
