The beautiful Jinsha Lake nestles beside the old Fangong dike and the beautiful Sheyang River, embracing the core area of the county. The planning area is 8.09 square kilometers, reaching Jinsha Lake Bridge in the East, yukou ancient town in the west, 329 provincial road in the South and Jinsha Hubei Road in the north. Jinsha lake used to be a sand mine. After taking the sand, it was connected with the waste pond and connected with the external water system. Jinsha lake has a long history.

Scenic spot approval

On September 25, 2012, Jiangsu Provincial People's government issued a document (suzhengfu [2012] No. 81) to Yancheng Municipal People's government, agreeing to establish Jinsha Lake tourist resort in Funing County, Jiangsu Province. This marks the formal approval of Jinsha Lake provincial tourist resort, which is the only provincial tourist resort approved in Yancheng City at present.

Jinsha lake used to be a sand mine. After taking the sand, it was connected with the waste pond and connected with the external water system. Jinsha lake has a long history. There are Dongyuan Neolithic cultural site, Han Dynasty tombs, ancient wells of the northern and Southern Dynasties, Chaocheng site, yukou ancient town, Xilai Buddhist temple, Zhenjie stone, imperial edict stone and other historical relics, as well as sand water culture, farming culture, red culture, food culture, folk culture, Buddhist culture, etc. Jinsha lake has beautiful scenery and unique resources. In spring, peach trees and willows are green; in summer, blue lotus is fragrant; in autumn, fruits are plentiful; in winter, ice is clean. The clear lake water and fine yellow sand in the region are the monopoly tourism resources in eastern China. In 2010, the county Party committee and the county government fully launched the development and construction of Jinsha lake. In 2011, Jinsha lake was listed in three special plans for the development of service industry, tourism industry and sports industry in the 12th Five Year Plan.

In July 2011, the largest bathing beach in eastern China was built. In addition to attracting tourists from Nantong, Taizhou, Suqian, Huai'an and other surrounding areas, tourists from the Yangtze River Delta and foreign countries also came to visit. They received 8000 tourists per day and 18600 tourists per day. It receives more than 500000 tourists for sightseeing and entertainment every year. At the 2011 China Sports Tourism Expo sponsored by the National Tourism Administration and the State General Administration of sports, it was rated as the "recommended project of China's sports tourism".

Jinsha Lake tourist resort is located and demarcated according to the "strategic planning of urban spatial development coordination of Funing County in Jiangsu Province" and "regulatory detailed planning of Nanxin District of Funing County", and is connected with the urban construction planning of Funing County. Relying on the advantages of natural Jinsha and clear water, the resort focuses on creating theme tourism such as ecological leisure, sports fitness, hot spring vacation and cultural experience. The average width of Jinsha lake is about 500 meters, and the widest part is more than 1000 meters. The natural reserves of yellow sand in the area reach 8 million cubic meters. The yellow sand is pure and even, with good resource endowment and high landscape value. It has excellent conditions for building beach, carrying out beach sports and building a tourist resort. Around the goal of building "the largest freshwater beach in China", we have implemented projects such as beach.

Five Star Beach Waterfront Resort Hotel, senior hot spring club, song street in Tang City, convalescent base and other tourism and holiday projects will be built in succession. According to the development plan and the overall positioning of "Jinsha lake with clear water, Jianghuai new paradise", we will build the largest fresh water beach in China, Jiangsu beach water sports training base and other key projects. By the end of the 12th Five Year Plan, Jinsha lake will be built into a national AAAA scenic spot integrating sightseeing, fitness and leisure, entertainment and vacation, and business exhibition.
