Wuyang River

Wuyang River scenic spot is located in Zhenyuan, Shibing and Huangping counties near Kaili City, including Wuyang River Three Gorges, Yuntai Mountain, Tiexi, Zhenyuan ancient city and other scenic spots. Wuyang River

Wuyang river is a tributary of Yuanjiang, a tributary of the Yangtze River. Its estuary is the dividing point between Yuanjiang River and Qingshui River. Originating from Changlin Township, Weng'an county, Guizhou Province, it flows through Huangping County, Shibing County, Zhenyuan County and cengong county. It comes out of Guizhou Province in Yuping county and into Hunan Province. With a total length of 258 km and a drainage area of 6480 square kilometers, the main stream involves nine counties (special zones) including Weng'an, Huangping, Zhenyuan, Yuping, Tongren, Shiqian, cengong, Jiangkou and Wanshan. The main stream of Fuyang River is rich in water energy resources, and has basically realized cascade development. Medium and small hydropower stations such as Fuyang lake, Guanyinyan and Hejiatan have been built successively. Wuyang river is divided into upper Wuyang and lower Wuyang.

The upper Wuyang development has tou gorge, Wulu gorge, Laodong gorge and Guanyin gorge, about 50 kilometers long, marked by "Taigong fishing" stone; the lower Wuyang development includes Zhuge gorge in Shibing county and Longwang gorge, Xixia and Dongxia in Zhenyuan County, with a total length of 50 kilometers, marked by "peacock Kaiping" stone. Wuyang River in Huangping
