Xuesong village is called wuluken in NASH, which means the foot of the snow mountain. This small village is also known as Yuhu village because there is a clear spring in the West and the water is as green as jade. Xuesong village was the former residence of Joseph Locke. Locke was a writer of National Geographic magazine, a famous photographer and explorer. In Yunnan, he took more than 1000 photos with ethnic customs as the theme, translated a large number of Dongba scriptures, and wrote ancient Naxi kingdom in Southwest China and Naxi English encyclopedia dictionary. Now, Locke's former residence is still the same as he used to live in, and an exhibition hall has been opened so that more people can understand him.
