Located on the top of the East peak of Jiaoshan mountain, the tower of absorbing river is formerly known as the pavilion of absorbing River, also known as the tower of absorbing river. Because there are wooden Buddha statues on all sides of the pavilion, it is also called four side Buddha Pavilion. The building is octagonal in shape. The whole structure is made of cement and imitation wood. There are stairs spiraling up, four corridors and eight views.
