Liu Bei's tomb generally refers to Huiling of Han Dynasty
Huiling, historically known as Huiling, is located in Wuhou Temple in Chengdu. The mausoleum covers an area of 2000 square meters, with a height of 12 meters and a 180 meter long brick wall. In front of the mausoleum, there is a stele named "mausoleum of emperor zhaolie of Han Dynasty", which was erected in 1788. According to historical records, after Liu Bei died in April 223 in Baidi City, he was transported back to Chengdu for burial. In the tomb, Liu Bei's two wives, Gan and Wu, died one after another. Liu Bei's tomb is now inscribed with the couplet of "Han zhaolie mausoleum" and "Qianqiu awe inspiring:" a cup of earth is still majestic, where can I find the suspected tomb in Zhanghe River from his Tongque wasteland; the tripod is here today, and the remaining stone scale ancient road is reminiscent of the palace of Han Dynasty. ".
Basic introduction
Travel scenery of Wuhou Temple, Liubei hall --- Chengdu
Cao Cao is the founder of the Three Kingdoms, and Sun Quan is the one who lives the longest. But their final home is Cao Cao's graveyard, which was written by ximenbao on the Bank of Zhanghe River, and then the sun, moon and spring and autumn passed away. Sun Quan's family, Jiang Du, knew that it was still there, but since Zhu Yuanjin destroyed Jiming temple and built Xiaoling, it was left to see the gate. Since then, although sun Linggang, known as Meihua Mountain, has survived, but Jiang Du was still there The scale of Dingwei mausoleum is only a mound under Zijin Mountain. Compared with the founders of Wei and Wu, Liu Bei, the youngest and the shortest emperor of Shu Han Dynasty, was buried in Huiling for more than 1700 years. It's much luckier than the final destination of Cao Cao and Sun Quan. Even vertically, it's better than the two places where Gongsun Shu and Li Xiongjian, who once ruled separately in Sichuan and claimed to be king of the country, died without burial. "Finally, there's a square inch of burial place. There's a poem to prove it:" if you don't see Gongsun's vaulting horse, you know where he's decaying. There is no trace of Li huajianduo and Zhu wudianfu. Who is like a king thinking for a hundred generations, when ghosts and gods care endlessly (Liu Daokai of Ming Dynasty, see the Chengdu government department, volume 596 of the collection of ancient and modern books). The Qing Cao emissary (jianweiji) said: "in Jiajing, the robber bureau first took charge of the foundation, and then entered the cave tomb. Now they are playing chess with lanterns, and there are more than ten bodyguards. The robber was surprised and said, "do you want to drink?" But each drink with a cup, and art and jade belt several, life out quickly. When you steal out, your mouth is painted, and your belt is a giant snake. The acupoints are as old as ever. " The story of Liu Bei's tomb robbers being punished for entering Huiling shows that Liu Bei's tomb was never stolen. However, there are hundreds of emperors in Chinese history for thousands of years, and few of them have been stolen. Why didn't Liu Bei's tomb be stolen? Therefore, in the Song Dynasty, some people suspected that Huiling was not the foundation of Liu Bei, it was just a burial mound commemorating Liu Bei. Liu Bei's real tomb can only be in the Baidi city (Fengjie, Sichuan) where he died. This theory has been circulating for hundreds of years. It is said that Guo Moruo passed by Fengjie city in the 1960s and said that Liu Beizhen's tomb was not in Chengdu, but in Fengjie.
Fengjie cemetery
In 1985, Chen Jian proposed that Liu Bei's body should be buried in Fengjie. He had three reasons: first, it was hot in April after Fengjie, and the corpse was the most easily rotten and smelly, so it was not easy to send it to Chengdu thousands of miles away; second, according to the records of ancient books and local chronicles since the Yuan Dynasty, empress Gan was buried in Fengjie. According to the annals of the Three Kingdoms, empress Gan was buried with Liu Bei, but she was not buried in Huiling. It can be seen that Liu Bei was also buried in Fengjie. Thirdly, there are many legends about Liu Bei's tomb in Fengjie. In recent years, there are many artificial tunnel openings in Fengjie City, which are very similar to the tomb path, and their directions all point to the mansion (now the courtyard of the county people's Government). (Tianfu Xinlun, 1985, issue 3) Chen Jian also said that in recent years, the cultural relics control and survey team used ultrasonic to carry out geophysical exploration, and found that two building structures, 13 meters to 15 meters long and 5 meters high, were buried deep under the site of the compound. Some experts believe that it is likely to be the real Tomb of Liu Bei and Mrs. Gan.
Historical evidence
But Tan liangxiao and Mu Yifei didn't agree with this theory. They refuted Chen Jian's theory and thought that Liu Bei was buried in Huiling, which was confirmed by Shi Zhiyan. As for the burial place of empress Gan, it is recorded in the biography of empress Gan in the annals of the three kingdoms that "later died and was buried in Nanjun (Jiangling, Hubei Province). In the second year of Zhangwu, she chased empress yihuangsi and was buried in Shu. At the end of the day, she was the first one to lead the funeral. Prime Minister Liang Shangyan The emperor of huidahang collapsed, and now the coffin of Huangsi's wife (empress GaN) has arrived, and the palace is in the road. The garden and mausoleum will be completed, and the house will be built in time Therefore, empress zhaolie (empress GaN) should be buried with emperor Daxing. The officials asked Taiwei to inform the ancestral temple and the world. The system said, "yes." According to Liu Bei, he died in Yongan palace in the city of Baidi in April 223. The next month, his Zitong palace was sent to Chengdu from Yong'an palace, and was buried in Huiling in August. Here, "Zitong palace is on the road, and Yuanling will be completed" means that the pivot of Liu Bei is on the way from Yong'an to Chengdu, and the Huiling of Chengdu is under construction. This memorial was given to Liu Chan, the later leader of Chengdu by Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Baidi city (or on the way). It can be seen that Liu Bei and empress Gan were buried together in the palace Huiling. Tan liangxiao and others believed that although Liu Bei died in Baidi city in Fengjie, he was transported back to Chengdu for burial. Chen Shou grew up in a local area and was an official in Shu state. How can he record the tomb of the monarch (the mystery of Bashu) Shen Boshi, a scholar of Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, recently asked the author, holding the view that Liu Bei's Huiling is a real tomb. He put forward that "the simplest reasons are as follows: (1) the historical records clearly state that Liu Bei was still buried in Chengdu; (2) the so-called saying that it is difficult to transport the corpse in hot weather is untenable. The first emperor of Qin died more than 400 years earlier than Liu Bei. He still ignored Lu Yao and also served as Xianyang. By Liu Bei's time, the antiseptic technology had developed greatly. Why not transport the corpse back to Chengdu? " And "the so-called underground excavation of ancient tombs in Fengjie is not credible.". The records in the annals of the Three Kingdoms should be believable. Chen Shou also quoted a large number of Shu Han archives in his diaozhi, but he was not in the same era as Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang after all. The emperor's mausoleum has always been false and true because of the disaster of stealing excavation one hundred years later. Even at that time, the personnel may not be able to sort out clearly. The so-called real tomb and fake Tomb of Liu Bei are original or handed down In the word of mouth. The so-called Fengjie theory, therefore, can not be regarded as a cultural psychological phenomenon. There are people's novelty about ancient tombs, and more about Liu Bei, a man of the Three Kingdoms. Fengjie and Liu Bei do have a unique geographical marriage and outstanding people. Therefore, we can speculate and associate with each other, and breed our own mysterious feelings with the mysterious behavior of the imperial tradition. However, since this doubt has been raised by the relevant people, it still needs to be solved if there is a tie bell. Therefore, it seems that a field investigation is still necessary to solve it!
About couplets
Han Hui mausoleum is on the right side of the prime minister's ancestral hall in Chengdu, and Emperor zhaolie's Fengan place. Chen Tongjie wrote a couplet: "min'e is full of Qi and belief. It is a place of worship for Du Yu. It is a place of great barbarians. It is a place where you return to a good country. When you come to Zhuolu, your two ancestors pass on the emperor's rule. Gao Jiang's mausoleums are all illegal and stolen, and his traces are in Danyang. After several years of wind and rain, his ashes are cold Note: "the sacrifice emperor of Zhuolu city collapsed here." According to, from the sentence to the picture, you can say that the clouds are burning. In addition, the temple of marquis Wu said: "I swear to sweep the Central Plains, to frighten the wind and rain, to cry for ghosts and gods, to set an example before, and then to set an example after; when the earth cracks and the sky collapses, I beg Zan to inherit the orthodoxy, to lose Xiao Cao, to see Yilu, a meritorious official of the Western Han Dynasty, and a meritorious official of the Eastern Han Dynasty." He is a masterpiece, full of pen and ink, sweeping all the appearances. In addition, Liu Chen, the king of the northern region, wrote in his shrine: "the mountains and rivers are very good. After the former Emperor left his lailair, he was killed. The Duke of the county disgraced the three tripods. His family is wandering. Who can protect my son and grandson's welfare? He has no choice but to die, and the prime minister left the army in vain." After that, he came out to surrender Wei and was granted the title of Duke of Anle county. In addition, a couplet of Guan temple in Dayong County said: "this state is nearly 1000 li away from the border of Western Shu. If you ask the God to welcome the drum, you can take advantage of the convenient transportation to live in the Han official ceremony in Linqi." According to this, the whole head holds on to Dayong's theory, which is to take a narrow road for a wide topic, and the sun's temple falls back, especially if it shakes up the mountain. Chen also wrote a couplet on the tomb of marquis Zhang Huan: "you know Liu Yuzhou. It seems that life can help you; you are Zhang Yide, but you can't return to the yuan." It's unique. In addition, Tao in the East title West Lake Zhaozhong Temple couplet cloud: "the restoration of meritorious service, to win the lake and mountain for zudou; man's hatred, not a horse play Nao song." It is also very neat. There is a saying about the recovery of the dead in the Xinhai attack on Nanjing.
