Miyun Confucian Temple
There is a archway gate in front of the main courtyard. There are three gates: Lingxing gate in the middle, Jinsheng gate in the East and Yuzhen gate in the West. Inside the gate is a man-made "panchi", on which two parallel single hole small stone bridges are built (namely "three steps and two bridges", one of the eight sceneries in Miyun County). There are three rooms in the East and the West. The eastern chamber is the Ming Huan temple and the Western chamber is the Xiang Xian temple. Pan Chi is the halberd gate, halberd gate 3, that is, "three doors", and another East and West Corner Gate 1.

Miyun Confucian temple is located in the north of Gulou East Street in Miyun County. It was built in 1291. It covers an area of more than 4000 square meters and faces south.

The main building is Dacheng hall with 5 rooms and East and West verandas with 7 rooms each. There are Minglun hall, Zunjing Pavilion, xueshu hall, Chongsheng temple and Qisheng hall in the backyard of Dacheng hall, Wenchang hall in the East and Jiexiao temple in the West. Except Dacheng hall, other buildings were demolished. Dacheng hall is 10 meters high with a total area of 181.48 square meters. Miyun County is the only remaining Ming and Qing Dynasty palace style ancient building.
The Dacheng Hall of Miyun Confucian temple first appeared in Taiwan Postcard
Duan Qida, a member of the Chinese Photographers Association, took the photo of Dacheng Hall of the Confucian temple in Miyun County. As one of the main postal postcards printed in memory of Confucius in Taiwan, it was officially released at home and abroad. This is also the first time that Dacheng Hall of the Confucian temple in Miyun County has appeared on a postcard in Taiwan.
It is reported that there are eight postcards in this set. The one printed with the design of Dacheng Hall of Miyun Confucian temple is numbered as 19 series: 95-8-1, with a size of 14.9 × 10.4 (CM). The postage pattern is the full body portrait of Confucius, with a face value of NT $2.50. In the upper right corner of the postcard, there is the word "Confucius says: similar sex, but different habits". The designer of this set of postcards is Mr. Kong Lingxin, chairman of Taiwan Jiayou Electronics Co., Ltd. Mr. Kong is now over 90 years old. He is a descendant of Confucius. Over the years, he has collected photos and relevant information of Confucius temples in most provinces and cities of China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and other places. This postcard set of the main picture of Dacheng Hall of Confucian temple is the most representative of Confucian temple buildings.
According to the Beijing encyclopedia Miyun volume, the Dacheng Hall of the Confucian temple in Miyun County was built in the fourth year of Tang Xianqing (659). It was destroyed in the war in the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt in the 28th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1291). It is located in the library of Miyun County. It is the only ancient hall like building in Miyun County. It was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit by the people's Government of Miyun County in 1983.
