Yuxi Park in Shijiazhuang city is reconstructed from the original zoo. Yuandong street in the East, Yuhua West Road in the south, datan village in the West and Zhongshan West Road in the north. Old North Gate transformed into classical archway

The ground of the square will be engraved with the words "hello" in many languages.

The north gate of Yuxi park is a brick concrete structure building, and the old mottled wall still retains the appearance of Shishi old zoo. Xiao Shuwei, the site commander in chief of Yuxi Park renovation project, said that according to the renovation plan, the old north gate will become the highlight of the renovation project. At that time, a large classical archway with 6 columns and 5 spans will replace it and become the welcoming gate.

In the inner side of the archway, the screen sketch is set up, and the ancient style pattern is integrated with the archway. The new north gate is directly facing the layered and sunken Linshui square. On the ground of the square, the characters of "hello" in various languages will be engraved, and the sign language "hello" pattern will be carved, so it is named "Hello square". "At that time, any visitor entering Yuxi park can feel our warm and sincere attitude."

"12 flower gods" replace Carnival

Yuxi park will also build a "children's paradise" for children to play.

Today, the carnival Park in the northwest area of Yuxi park is a happy valley for children to play on holidays. However, according to the latest renovation plan, it will be transformed into a scenic spot called "Zhongchun Tianxiang".

After the departure of the carnival Park, the courtyard buildings full of Jiangnan style will become the carrier of this scenic spot, and then implant the highly ornamental "12 flower gods". According to the time sequence of December, they are: orchid, plum, peach, peony, peony, pomegranate, lotus, purple myrtle, Osmanthus fragrans, hibiscus, chrysanthemum and Narcissus. Revetment waterscape has always been a major weakness of Yuxi park. The 3000 meter coastline of 80 mu lake water area in the park has always kept the same appearance as the zoo, and the distance between the water surface and the ground is nearly one meter. The waterscape, riprap, weeds or insufficient greening along the coast seriously reduce the hydrophilicity of tourists.

After the completion of the revetment waterscape, Xiao Shuwei full of vision said, first of all, water will be injected to raise the water level, reducing the distance between the water surface and the ground to less than 30 cm. The revetment reconstruction project will be carried out in four ways: grass slope revetment, aquatic plant revetment, natural stone stacked revetment and wooden plank road revetment.

"Hebei region scenic spot" will be displayed through regional square with large stone carvings.

After the completion of the transformation, Yuxi park will have a strong cultural connotation. The most representative is to build a Hebei Folk custom scenic spot in Linyuan East Street on the east side of the park. Changshan battle drum, Yuxian paper-cut, Quyang stone carving, Jingxing flower and other carriers of Hebei Folk Culture will gather here.

As for how to vividly show the characteristics of Hebei culture, "Hebei region scenic spot" will be displayed through regional square with large stone carvings.
