The former site of Liusha meeting is the former site of the military decision-making meeting of the headquarters of Nanchang Uprising army on August 1. It is located in the east of the new Liusha River in Puning City. It is one of the tourist attractions reflecting the history of Chaoshan. The former site of the Christian Church was built in the 16th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. It is a shell gray wooden bungalow structure with front wing, patio, back hall, side hall and other buildings.

The former site of the Christian Church was built in the 16th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. It is a shell gray wooden bungalow structure with front wing, patio, back hall, side hall and other buildings. There are dozens of cultural relics, including the portable red wooden box left by Guo Moruo, as well as more than 100 historical photos and pictures, which are always welcomed by people from all walks of life. The former site was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Puning City in 1962, a cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province in 1978, and a patriotic education base of Jieyang City and Puning City respectively by Jieyang municipal Party committee and Jieyang Municipal People's Government of the Communist Party of China and Puning municipal Party committee and municipal government in 1996.
History and culture
On September 23, 1927, the "August 1" Nanchang Uprising army arrived in Chaoshan. On October 1, Zhou Enlai, Yun Daiying, Li Lisan, Liu Bocheng, Nie Rongzhen, the leaders of the former enemy Committee and the Revolutionary Committee, and their staff withdrew from Shantou to Liusha and settled in churches and other places. On the 3rd, the rebels who withdrew from the front line of Jieyang arrived in Puning. He long and Ye Ting also arrived in Liusha. After the meeting, Zhou Enlai presided over the military decision-making meeting of the headquarters in the side hall of the resident church. The meeting initially summed up the experience and lessons since the uprising, implemented the spirit of the "August 7th" meeting of the CPC Central Committee, and made a series of major decisions, which is of great historical significance. After liberation, Guo Moruo, Yang Chengwu, song renqiong, Peng Chong, Xi Zhongxun and other leaders came here one after another and left gifts. In August 1984, marshal Nie Rongzhen inscribed a plaque on the site. Now, the former site has become a good classroom for educating future generations and enlightening the world.
After liberation, Liusha Christian Church was built in different places, and the former revolutionary site was protected and built by the government. It was designated as the "August 1" memorial hall. Guo Moruo, Yang Chengwu, song renqiong, Peng Chong, Xi Zhongxun, Hu Sheng, Xiao Hongda, Nie Rongzhen, Song Ping, Li Lansheng, Xiao Ke and other central leaders and Xie Fei, former Secretary of Guangdong provincial Party committee, visited the former site successively, and left behind "August 1 beacon fire "Guangzhao quicksand", "quicksand conference, eternal glory", "protection of cultural relics, research of history, education of future generations", "inheritance of martyrs' aspirations, taking the new Long March" and other precious gifts. Today, the Bayi memorial has become a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province and a patriotic education base in Jieyang and Puning. According to the person in charge of the museum, the former site has become a good classroom for educating future generations, a patriotic education base for party and League organizations at all levels, workers, youth and women groups, especially primary and secondary school students in the city, and visitors from all over the country are also in constant stream. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the number of units and groups receiving visitors has increased more than in previous years.
