Xujiang Park

Xujiang park is located at No.40 Jiangbin Road, Jiangshan City, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It starts from WUMUSHAN and ends at sanguangdui in the south. It is the largest mountain park in Zhejiang Province. With luxuriant trees, beautiful scenery and fresh air, it enjoys the reputation of "the first park in Western Zhejiang".

The park includes five functional areas, namely children's paradise, animal viewing area, calligraphy and painting exhibition area, bonsai breeding area and water scenic area, which can fully meet the leisure and entertainment requirements of different levels of people. In front of the gate of Xujiang Park, there is a magnificent facade with a red and green cover. The front of the entrance is a fish pond, a fence, a rockery and a stone cave. The stone carvings of frog mouth water spraying, dragon mouth salivation, children playing in water, carp leaping wave are lifelike. Historical evolution

Initial construction project: in 1985, Jiangshan county decided to build Xujiang Park, and set up a preparatory leading group with Lu Jinliang, then head of the county, as group leader and Yang Zhirong, director of the National People's Congress, as deputy group leader. The construction of the park is based on the mountain field of WUMUSHAN floating bridge meeting, and a part of the nearby mountains, farmland and homestead are requisitioned, with a total of more than 160 mu. Seven households were relocated and more than 100 tombs were relocated, and more than 600000 yuan was paid for land acquisition, demolition and seedling compensation. At that time, the most difficult problem was the funds. The measures were as follows: squeeze a little in the finance, adjust and arrange a little out of the budget, take the measures of voluntary labor such as cadres and garrison, and enterprise sponsorship. In this way, the funds are finally solved. The total investment of the park was 5 million yuan, which lasted for two years and began to take shape by the end of 1987. On January 5, 1988, Xujiang Park was officially opened while Jiangshan county was removed to build a city.

The expansion project of Xujiang park is one of the practical projects of the municipal government in 2006. Through the efforts of the majority of builders, the project was completed and opened to the public in December 2006. 　　

Expansion project: the expansion project of Xujiang park has a planned area of 47000 square meters, which is divided into five parts: central tourist area, mountain tourist area, Valley Tourist Area, elderly fitness activity area and nursery reconstruction area, with a total investment of more than 17 million yuan.

The expansion project was completed in early December 2006 and passed the preliminary acceptance. After the completion of the expansion project, and the original Xujiang Park natural convergence, the total area of more than 150000 square meters.

The Xujiang rockery in Xujiang Park was completed in mid September. It is one of the important scenic spots in the extension area of Xujiang park. It is built with more than 1500 tons of Taihu Lake stones. It covers an area of 200 square meters and is 10 meters high, with a total investment of more than 500000 yuan. From a distance, it is quite spectacular, with ups and downs and scattered heights. The rockery is also specially piled up with caves, twists and turns. Orchid Garden Construction Project: on October 22, 2008, Jiangshan City held the commencement ceremony of Jiangshan orchid garden project in Xujiang park. Chen xing'er, chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, and Zhu Xinchao, vice mayor, were invited to attend the ceremony.

Jiangshan orchid garden is mainly for planting exhibition orchids, integrating ecological garden and leisure entertainment. It is an important project of cultural integration into the city, and is planned to be completed in 2008. Lanhuayuan construction project covers an area of 1500 square meters, including 340 square meters of housing construction and 145 square meters of corridor, with a total investment of 1.2 million yuan.

Xujiang Pavilion is located at the top of Wumu mountain, the highest point of Xujiang park. It looks across the river from Jiangshan City. Xujiang Pavilion is a five storey building in the shape of Qing Dynasty Pavilion, with a height of 31.9 meters, an area of 437 square meters and a total construction area of 1853 square meters. It is a landmark building and the best scenic spot in Jiangshan City.
