history

Tang dynasty

According to historical records, as early as the early Tang Dynasty, today's qingniwa bridge area is known as "sanshanpu". At that time, it was already a busy market full of soldiers and people. During the reign of Zhenyuan in Tang Dynasty (785-805 A.D.), the name of sanshanpu was changed to "qingnipu", which was the first place with specific location in the history of qingniwa. According to records, at that time, there was a large area of muddy beach in qingniwa area. From a distance, it was full of dark green color, so it was named qingnipu. There is a prime minister named Jia Dan who wrote the story of Daoli in 801 ad, describing the scene of passing by qingnipu. At that time, qingnipu had become an important port on the route from Shandong to Korea.

Liao and Jin Dynasties

In the Liao and Jin Dynasties, due to tribal wars, the transportation between the north and the South was blocked, and then it was silent for more than 300 years. It was not until the Ming Dynasty that qingnipu was revitalized. Later, qingnipu changed its name to "qingni island" and "qingni Haikou". It is a harbor with many sails and chairs and concentrated residents. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, because of the frequent wars, in order to avoid the war, the residents fled here. As a result, the prosperous qingni Haikou has been desolate for more than a century.

Qing Dynasty

In 1734, qingnihaikou was inhabited by people. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, qingnihaikou was renamed "qingniwa". Because the Qing government put the maritime defense in Dalian Bay, and the Defense Center in Lushunkou and Liushutun (today's Dalian Bay fishing port), qingni Haikou, which used to be Haikou, has lost its practical significance, and the mud beach, which is full of low-lying, has become the real meaning of this place name. As a result, local residents called it "qingniwa", thus ending the place name of qingnipu, which has been used for thousands of years. At that time, there were two villages in the area of qingniwa. One was located in the area of today's Dalian port, called qingnidong village; the other was located in the west of today's labor park and the old zoo, called qingnixi village. There is a wooden bridge (located on the west side of the present Dalian railway station) on the river leading to the sea in today's labor park. This bridge connects two villages. This bridge is called "qingniwa bridge".

From the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century

From the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, wharf, railway station and shipyard were built in qingniwa Bay.
