Pinglin Tea Industry Museum is a manor building of Minnan style. Brick and wood are used as building materials to create an antique atmosphere. The ground floor of the tea museum is a comprehensive exhibition hall, which displays three themes of tea affairs, tea history and tea art. The history of tea shows the origin of tea drinking, tea of different dynasties in China, the introduction of tea God Lu Yu, the history of Pinglin tea, the development history of Wenshan Baozhong tea and other topics related to the development history of tea industry.

Development history
Pinglin is located in the middle of high mountains. It is a high-quality tea producing area in Northern Taiwan. There are large and small tea plantations scattered in the overlapping mountains, which are full of tea mountain scenery.
Pinglin Tea Industry Museum is located at no.19-1 shuishuoqikeng, shuide village, Pinglin township. It is a quadrangle building with Anxi style in Southern Fujian. It covers an area of 2.7 square meters. It is surrounded by a sightseeing tea garden. There are two teahouses, zizhulou and mingyuelou, for tourists to enjoy tea. Inside, there are exhibition hall, activity theme hall, multimedia hall, tea art hall and promotion center, which display the material and spiritual aspects of tea clearly. The activity theme hall changes the theme every three months; the multimedia hall uses 3D animation to perform the knowledge of tea in a dramatic way. Since its opening in January, 1986, the Tea Museum has replaced Pinglin Township and brought a lot of tourists and additional tourism development.

Zizhulou and yueminglou are located in the east of Pinglin Tea Industry Museum. Take the Xindian bus from Taipei Public Security Building and Xindian MRT station to Pinglin bus, the frequency is from 06:10 to 19:20, about 30 to 90 minutes.
