Jiuhua Mountain, also known as Fuzhou mountain, has a long and narrow shape with parallel top. According to the records of the world, it is three miles around, thirty feet high, Qingxi River in the East and Zhenwu Lake in the north. It looks like a fallen boat, so it is called Jiuhua Mountain. In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, China's first royal building, Beijiao altar, was built in the south of Fuzhou mountain.
Xuanzang temple was built by Liu Yilong, Emperor Wen of the Song Dynasty, during the yuan and Jia dynasties. It merged yaoyuanlei, Xichi and beijiaotan into Yueyou garden, which became the Royal Garden of the Six Dynasties.
