Zhejiang Finance Vocational College is a provincial higher vocational and technical college directly under the people's Government of Zhejiang Province and in charge of the Education Department of Zhejiang Province. It is the first higher vocational college in China and the only one in Zhejiang Province with the main goal of cultivating high-level applied talents in the financial industry. The predecessor of the college is Zhejiang bank school, a national key technical secondary school established in 1952 and restored in 1975. Historical evolution

In April 1975, Zhejiang finance bank school, the predecessor of Zhejiang Finance Vocational College, was established. The school site is temporarily borrowed from Qibao silkworm farm in the suburb of Hangzhou.

In June 1977, he moved to Wenyi street, Hangzhou branch of Zhejiang Normal University.

In August 1978, the school of Zhejiang finance bank was abolished, and some of them established Zhejiang bank school and some Zhejiang finance school (now Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics).

In March 1979, he moved to a castle outside Qingtai gate in Hangzhou.

In 1994, the college was named as a national key technical secondary school by the State Education Commission.

In June 2000, with the approval of the people's Government of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Finance Vocational College was established at No. 32, Dingjiang Road, Yibao, qingtaimenwai, Hangzhou.

In January 2002, Zhejiang Finance Vocational College was officially established with the approval of Zhejiang Provincial People's government.

In October 2003, the College moved to Xiasha Campus (No. 118 Xueyuan street, Xiasha Higher Education Park), and the adult education college and training center continued to be in the old campus.

In 2006, the college was identified by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of finance as the first batch of national model vocational colleges.

In 2009, the college passed the "National Model Higher Vocational College construction unit" demonstration acceptance by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of finance; in January of the same year, the adult education college and training center of the College moved to Xiasha campus.

In 2013, Deqing County People's government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Vocational College of finance to establish the financial service outsourcing College of Zhejiang Vocational College of Finance in Deqing vocational secondary school.

In July 2014, the college was rated as a national university with typical employment experience by the Ministry of education.

On July 15, 2015, Deqing County People's government, Zhejiang Vocational College of Finance and Zhejiang Rural Credit Union jointly signed a cooperation agreement to establish Deqing College of Zhejiang Vocational College of finance.

In June 2017, the college was identified as the first batch of key construction higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province.

In July 2019, the college was recognized as a national high-quality vocational college by the Ministry of education. In December, the college was listed by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of finance as a high-level higher vocational school with Chinese characteristics and professional construction plan construction unit (b file).
